    This is a case of "Waah! It's not fair i got sacked." Simple fact is he violated his employment contract bringing the tv company into disrepute and got dismissed as a result.

    I had a similar conversation with a friend recently about being the one brave enough to raise your head above the parapet and say what most others think. It does unfortunately mean you make a target of yourself. Respect to Ant for being that guy.

There are two sides to every story, and he became a scapegoat for the media to allow themselves to follow their own agenda, he exercise’s his right to freedom of speech and isn’t afraid to .     Ant, Ollie and Colin were great on the show. Colin especially, had done it all. Hostage, Hostage Rescuer (operation barras) Iraq, Afghanistan and N, Ireland undercover.

    Love this bloke... Who Dares Wins was my absolute favourite program on TV ever when it felt raw and real... havent watched it since he left... tried to watch the next season but its was just naff so gave up after the first few episodes... IMO Minow films didn't know their market.

    The problem with Britain nowadays, is the silent majority’s views get overlooked, and any organised groups who play up for their own agendas get appeased. The powers that be have gone soft and are afraid to act strongly in case they lose votes etc. So the rest of us have to put up with all the nonsense that goes on here now. It’s not the Britain I grew up in. I miss how we were, not that long ago.

    Great interview ant ,I was never in the military but tried to join the navy,got turned down ( let’s say due to miscarriage of justice ) got myself a job as deckhand working on deep sea beam trawler ,worked to my absolute and physical capability’s and my ole school skipper hard as feck showed me no sympathy,I did my job and crew could depend on me if/when shite hits the fan or in fishing terms ,if did not comply with skippers orders when next ashore pack your scallop bag with ya kit No feckin about ,don’t wanna work fine ,you not part of crew ,ya don’t eat,ya sleep on deck,not getting paid , Ps mutiny series understand skippers sometime have to make decisions not for there own likings but for the best interests of crew but that scouse Chris not taking his watch repeatedly failing to understand by not doing so put not just himself but the lives of all onboard at risk , The skipper is basically god ,what he says goes ,do ya job if wanna argue every skipper I’ve worked with past 22 yrs is always more than happy to resolve current situation when ashore until then it not about individuals it about the whole crew Soz tad long mate ,all the best

    Just watched some of season 8 and it’s very clear the production company has cherry picked a bunch of folks with severe emotional issues and the DS are simply guidance counselors. Shame I really enjoyed the first season.

    Every trainer in Every Fire Brigade in the UK 🇬🇧 has this problem with recruits … some of them Are TRULY SHOCKINGLY BAD and pass out of training establishments posted to their Fire Stations and are riding Fire Appliances Today 🤷🏼‍♂️ Same in the Armed services and Police 😳

    I remember a paper trying to use him punching a police women to tarnish his character like they had exposed him, but in reality he had spoke about it in his book a year or two before !! and the general public lapped it up with out a second thought, like maybe this man was struggling with coming back from tour and trying to fit back in to normality.

    I hope he knows about The Selection show on History Channel- it was all US special forces training a group of civilians just like SAS in green beret and SEAL training including diving equipment. He should call those guys up and collaborate!

    The show was starting become about him in latter stages. He was starting to become really successful outside of the programme with his books and live shows etc. That's not his fault though, fair play to him for doing that. But the show did again become about the contestants rather than the DS. soon after he'd left. Like I said again, it's not his fault, not having a dig at him at all, but it is the reality.
