This CD has three separate relaxation/meditation sessions on it kzread.infoUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq guided by a very pleasant and direct male voice. Unlike so many other products of its type, this CD does not have bad synthesizer music, does not feature a phony or affected style of narration, and does not make any bogus claims to be subliminal or to re-train the brain or any of that balderdash. What you get is 1. a guided meditation for getting into a pleasantly relaxed state of body awareness while taking a stroll (superb for those easing back into a fitness routine slowly after an illness or injury) 2. A nice long breath-awareness relaxation session that if followed diligently can put you into very deep states of full-body relaxation and mental calmness, and 3. a buddhist-inspired meditation session designed to help you develop and maintain feelings of loving kindness toward not just yourself and your friends, but toward people you don't even like. The CD makes no claims to be designed for advanced meditators or for buddhists or hindus/yoga practitioners looking for very deep and esoteric stuff. It is geared more toward the average person who just wants to develop the habit of relaxation and stress relief through natural, healthy means. him, if you happen to be reading this, keep up the good work fella, and I love your accent. I would also like to note that I have never fallen asleep while listening to this product. I would like to kindly suggest to the reviewer who said this CD makes him fall asleep, that he might want to get checked to see if he has a sleep disorder, or if he is simply not setting aside ample time for restful sleep at night. A healthy person getting adequate rest at night should be able to go into deep states of mental relaxation without dozing off, if not all the time, then most of the time.

One thing I like more so about Steven in all of his interviews on here, he actively listens more than he actually talks himself, patience of a saint, he allows his guest to talk openly for however long it takes without interrupting. Other KZread podcasters and interviewers take note, this is how to do it, make the story about the guest not about you, respect goes a long long way. Great video as always Steven, it goes without saying, still the best interview videos on KZread.

I'm late to his podcasts, this is only the 5th or 6th I've watched but you're right on point, that's what I've taken from the few I've listened to. He obviously does his research and has questions but once the person is there,he sits, listens and just allows them to tell their story for however long or short their answer may be,and doesn't jump from one thing to the next question on a list,he goes with the flow and where that person's mind is,which is pretty refreshing to hear instead of a barrage of questions just for the sake of it. Even when he does bring in something about himself,it's not coz he's wanting to talk about himself,it's coz he's relating and using it gain more insight as well as making the person feel heard and understood which brings out the best in his guests. It's almost like an informative therapy session for us viewers. (Sorry, that was a pretty long-winded way in my own words of saying I agree with you. I'd be a terrible interviewer 🙈)

Love him or hate him, he is true to himself and how many people can say that these days! I refuse to censor myself. I am me and nothing else. I am happy with that even if others are not. I am under no illusions, some people will hate me but my family love who I am and their opinions are the ones that matter to me. Like Lennon once said "Being honest won't get you a lot of friends but it will always get the right ones" Ant, I respect you even though I haven't agreed with all your views. The respect is born out of your unapologetic belief that you are being yourself. Nothing more, nothing less.

I’m really fascinated how the DS’s on SAS show, go from the bombastic discipline to the chat they have with the participants in the dark room. Just a few words really, but they get to a heart of what’s going on and this is so much better than a year of therapy where a person tells you what you want to hear. it makes perfect sense, straightforward honesty, no bullshit. So inspiring.

I was thinking about Ant Middleton yesterday, and wondering what he's getting up to these days. He was the best one on SAS series and it hasn't been the same without him. I praised him for making the Tweets about covid. I never believed in it myself, or wore a mask etc. This video popped up on my phone so had to watch it. Been a big fan of Steven too! Wow! Briliant! I appreciate Ant, Steven, and all of the crew for putting this video together. It is a very inspiring and thought provoking video. I don't care what Ant says....He is definitely spiritual! 😂 Love it! ❤ New subscriber ❤

Took me a little while to warm up to this episode but I'm so glad I stayed. Ant is honestly one of the most self-aware and honest people I have ever come across - his words were incredibly moving at times. Definitely going to turn them societal dials down a little bit more going forward. Thanks for another great episode Steven ❤

I do doubt ants authenticity, thinking that deep at 5? Not a chance, a 5 year old doesn't think like that. I think he knows what to say, mental health, authentic, be yourself, don't offend, etc etc blah blah blah

This relates so much to Internal Family Systems therapy model where so called "demons" are named as exiles. Very often they're repressed emotions, our inner children that simply want out attention, want their pain to be seen and honoured. We can do that with love and compassion so those "demons" can transform to something beautiful. It's best to befriend all our "demons" and help them. We suffer when we try to get rid of them, when we minimase them or pretend they don't exist. Trauma is such an important topic to talk these days. Sadly so many of us avoid talking about it. Would love for Steven to have a podcast with someone like let's say Gabor Mate. There's so much we can learn from pain/trauma and so called "demons".

Steve ,I had no idea who you were until 2 hours ago.I am astonished by the content, and the empathy you display. This was outstanding, your possibly greatest asset is that the show or video is not ego or issue led,you have no agenda as such. You make or direct the content about your guest and only contribute when you have a wothwhile comment to make. You allow your guest to talk, which is so refreshing,it doesn't turn into the "Me,Me,Me Show".You have a new subscriber.Astonishing, thank you,I was entertained, educated ,and best of all you both inspired me to look at things in a different way, which is the whole point of reading, watching and listening to anything,in my opinion.Ten out of ten.

Exactly. And he's a relatively young guy. Many long in the tooth media interviewers don't have his talent. If, in the end, he is lured away into the mainstream, I hope he's able to hang on to that. It's what makes him and the series stand out and outstanding. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I admire anyone prepared to speak about how they feel and what they think....As long as there is no hate or racism in how you express yourself then that’s how you should honour yourself and how we keep debate and freedom of speech alive....Losing your job through fear of a small minority of attention seekers whilst using the power of social media to destroy a person and their career simply isn’t acceptable and WE NEED to STAND UP to it....
