I forgot one step, at t=4:14, click on the Workbench tab, click on the Share button and click on the green check to create Shared Topology to get shared nodes on coincident faces between bodies.

Hi Peter, thanks for the tutorial. I am not sure if the 4 separate parts of the cylinder need contacts to be defined in the mechanical. As they are actually from a single cylinder and inside the same structure tree in the spaceclaim, is there any need to define a bonded contact among these 4 parts? In design modeler, as I know, you don't need to define contact among these parts if you group them as a single part.

Yes, you are right. That is why I added the comment in the description about using the Share button.
