Thanks for the wisdom, it beats spending $40K dollars on a high tech system. My husband will be attempting it at 21' long, for timber framing among other things. The slower the dry the straighter trhe board he says, at least when it come to solar drying.

I was looking through your PLAYLIST and was wondering if during the winter you could put together other playlists for beginning, intermediate, and advanced sawyers. You have so much knowledge to share and for the beginning sawyer, they need videos that will get them started in the right direction quickly. If you could pull together some of your best videos instead of people having to sift through them all to find the ones that are best for their experience level. I've watched your videos for years. I'm a retired educator who hates to see knowledge not used to it's best potential. Yours is the BEST! It may bore you to do this but think of all who will learn from it. Maybe in the winter, put some playlists together when your not sawing. A great mind is so valuable. Put yours out there in a user friendly format. God bless!!!

Hi Karen, I thought about doing that, my problem is that I have to go through all the videos to do the playlists only because I did not categorize them for myself either. I was thinking about it though. It is a good idea.

Hi Jo! is it water vapour that is extracted to the outside or is it cooled back to a liquid as it leaves the kiln?

Thanks for showing the chart. I enjoy your videos. Why are you not trying to sell your lumber?

Doesn't the discolored--almost grey--wood on the bottom bring a lower price?
