It's a shame to hear that the reason you left GW was because of something shadowy and uncomfortable, but I think the community and hobby are honestly better off with you outside with the freedom you can now explore doing your own thing. And look at that, at least 100,000 people agree and want to see what that is! How lustrous a silver lining this is

Having listened to folk like Peachy talk about it and from what Louise has said; my impression is that there are a few people there with a bit of a Napoleon complex and make decisions fueled by their ego rather than logic, common sense or what might be good for business.. which basically drove good people away! Loe and behold.. turns out they can do it on their own! Amazing work, Louise, thanks for the content so far and what's to come!

The GW car park fight rumours are 100% true. Currently, combatants are asked to choose from sword, axe, or mace-and-chain - first to draw blood wins. Absolutely based Bionicle choice, the ball ones were sick!

Congrats Louise! My girlfriend watched a few of your videos with me a few months back and she’s now hugely into Warhammer. She actually picked up her first primarch (the lion, obviously) last week and she’s been working on painting it every night! I think I may be getting her a rascal town gobbo for her upcoming birthday. Keep up the good work!

As a marketing person who deals with influencers and influencer marketing, completely agree. I think the idea of wanting to be ‘a KZreadr’ or ‘an influencer’ is back to front. You have to be into the thing first - whatever the thing may be, gardening, sheep, 13th century art, puppets, whatever - and grow it from there.

Summoning is fucking amazing! I was not expecting to hear it mentioned 😂 It's probably one of my favorite too

It's very refreshing to hear a top-level painter talk about having an arts background. So many talented painters downplay their formal training, and it can be very disheartening to the less-artistically-inclined hobbyists out here. My brother's first models were so much better than mine, and he was like "I spent years learning how to use a brush. You haven't made art since the 8th grade." Thank you! Obviously there is also natural talent involved in your case, but it takes work to hone that into a dependable skill. The work really shows (and the love!).

Your videos are great fun to watch, seeing your passion for the hobby really brightens my day and inspires me to tackle my ever growing backlog. My only complaint is that now I've binged all your videos, and i have none left to binge watch

I assumed in or near Edinburgh, so Dunfermline wasn't too far off the mark, just over the Forth! Some excellent metal crossover there 🤘🏻 The infodumping/not getting infodumping thing I think is the biggest social barrier between neurotypical and neurodivergent people, IMO (that said sometimes I struggle with others' infodumping because I'm wanting to "read ahead" and skip to the end!). I want people to be really into something and see the joy it gives them. Before i realised it was a neurotype difference I found it really weird that loads of my work peers just didn't seem to be into things. Pro Acryl Titanium is the only PA I own so far (the problem with having All The Paints for years before discovering them). It's the absolute bollocks!

Sounds like a good new year's plan, I've only just started painting minis again, it's something I really enjoy doing amongst crafting, building gundam and building scale model vehicles, I'd love to design my own game I'm already learning about armatures and building structures, I have a few projects to do before I can immerse myself into the sculpting. Have been enjoying your content and look forward to your first full year for the channel, well done on 100,000 k it is deserved for the hard work you have put in 😊
