I'm in my 50's but still love watching you and how incredible it is watching a young girl in her own home which is coming along lovely, a Home has a big mouth and there will be lots of changes until one day you sit and think I'm happy now, I've made a house my home. I have the box and I use it for cables and spare batteries. Bits and bobs like safety pins, sewing things ect. And I got one for my kids that I’ve filled with hair things. Clips, hair ties and bobby pins. Love the cardigan.

The lamps are pretty on the night stands, but they are redundant because you have wall lamps right next to them. Suggest putting mirrors up instead of table lamps for the night stands. Maybe use lamps in the pink room instead.

I do! I’ve used it a ton on metal picture frames and cabinet hardware. There are several colors of gold you can I buy so you can get the perfect color you want. I have a 5 pack of different gold colors I can email you color swatches if you want.

Why don’t you get a chair to face the garden and put the sofa against the wall?

I’m absolutely gutted for you re the terrible plumbing works. Lots of deep breaths! I have had stress acne a few times in my adult life, drinking warm water with freshly squeezed lemon and some good honey first thing, works wonders.

Portrait orientation looks good for the bathroom

Sorry to hear about your renovation problems. We have renovated our homes with and without help since I was 22. We have always had an unreliable builder or tradesman in every home and there have been 5 homes. We have been in this home for over 14 years and have been renovating for 12 of them! It has been a massive project and some things we have replaced twice (due to poor workmanship). Some tradesmen go out of business and some just don't return to fix things when they promise to. It is very frustrating, however it is also partly due to the age of my house (it was built in 1888) and the fact that it was effectively, originally hand built and we need planning permission for everything we do. My floors can be wonky and my walls bowed, but I love that it has character and almost 4 metre ceiling heights with features that you can't buy now. I look at new build homes and feel like they don't have the same vibe. Your house is lovely! I hope that you can get to a point where you are comfortable with it, Old houses are a labour love 😍

As much fun as a basketball hoop is, if you mean to use it or only as decor, the sound of a ball bouncing and hitting against a wall and rim can be annoying to neighbors. Honestly, it seems like a waste of money, not very attractive and over time, the weathers going to make it look ratty. Make your garden look pretty by not spending on a fad you saw.

I agree with most people the 2 lamps look silly and doesn’t make sense. Why bother with the wall ones. Portrait looked better. You need to call out these people that made the mistakes so others don’t use them! Surely you are covered under a warranty as new. The company should be held responsible.

You said an idea for the Prince's Trust... I haven't watched you for a while but as someone who maybe cared too much what other people thought...and you mentioned your great attitude to skin issues....would influencing younger girls?....that it is OK not to look picture-perfect every day would be so refreshing.... I mean it's obvious you normally have lovely skin, but you didn't go into a melt down and if you didn't address the cause...why seek help as a quick fix… I just think in this challenging time for young girls it's just an opinion I found refreshing...you know, like the bare skin idea... I am 60 now living in Perth, WA and thanks to KZread… Korean skin care and staying out of the sun... I have skin like my Mum who was a true English rose, and it's skin that was better than in my youth always with one huge pimple...no really effective treatment and crushed whenever anyone called attention to it and the makeup back then...let's just say appreciate at what you girls have... My Mother was 79 when she passed away not a wrinkle…pillowy soft skin all down to her pink pot of oil of Ulan as it was called ...(now oil of Olay) as it was then....anyway I was just really impressed with your take on it......and the obvious mental health benefits... I wish had someone say that to me......sorry if it is a bit of a jumble but really well done Emily xx
