Agreed. This one is an instant classic for me. The rest of the album took some time to get used to. Its certainly growing on me, a lot, but Answering the Call was instant.

His ambidextrous approach is really inspiring and so is His sick coordination and they way He accents keyboard or guitar parts

I’ve seen a couple of comments saying “this is how Portnoy would play this” First thing, if MP was still in the band maybe this song wouldn’t have happened. 2nd, this is an excellent drummer who’s heavily influenced or so it seems by MP that being said, this is AN AMAZING COVER with a different approach and twist. I LOVE IT!
