That’s really hard to hear because I went last year with my family and it was honestly one of the most magical experiences of my life. Knowing that others and myself might not be able to experience that again after “everything” is unfortunate.

Y'all should check out the cirquelife channel. It's run buy another cirque member whose also been laid off. He's running a competition currently for circus artists around the world to give them some exposure, and if they win- a 10k cash prize! Keep circus arts alive and support your favorite artists in any way you can!

Loved that dive too reminded me of pocahontas leaping of the cliff.

I’ve watched Emily in varekai and Crystal. She was one of the reasons I started aerial hoop as she was another gymnast from Leeds, so hearing that one of my circus inspirations is struggling breaks my heart :( stay strong Emily :)

This group of people are truly some of the funniest and best people I have watched on KZread in a long while, even while they go through so much over the last few years they are still there for each other. Makes you remember that there are real friends and those real friends can and are FAMILY♥️

Happy to see, a couple of years later that the Cirque is back up and running. I have seen them twice in Alicante the first time about 16 years ago and the second, last August. Both shows were amazing. The skills are incredible.

@@Carolinamoonbeam66 I'd probably want that kind of morality for myself, but I don't think I can impose it on him even if I thought - which I do - that our way was a better way. The deeper issue is sometimes why it happened.. sometimes it is an attempt to fulfil a bigger desire, striving for acceptance, trying to find self-worth. Or sometimes people just like it. Emily seems content and that's the important thing I guess, not what we think!

@@mauort6870 it's deeper in the sense of it potentially going more to the core of the person, i.e. if there is an underlying reason then this is deeper than the superficial idea of people liking what they do and doing it because they like it. I don't mean deeper in the sense of worse or more concerning morally. I would say the same about anything people do more than average. If someone reads books a lot, there's no moral issues there, but looking deeper if they are doing it in order to avoid spending time with an abusive or controlling parent then that's a deeper issue to consider. Likewise if they're doing it because they love reading and writing and hope to become a professional writer in the future, that is also a deeper issue but again not at all in a bad way. It just looks deeper than "they read a lot of books because they want to read a lot of books". Hope that helps clarify my original comments, thanks for pointing out how it could have been taken negatively. It wasn't meant that way.
