@@leeminho7197 standard is definitely higher here from what I observe. People value art/design more & I hope Philippines would too. I can tell from watching Filipino shows, it seems like their production budget/standard is really low. Living situation is different in the Philippines and it's probably the reason why parents discourage their kids to pursue a career in a creative field. At the end of the day it's all about the money. "Do you have money to feed your family?" . . . Just my thoughts, not to offend anyone.

@@ellona3645 true. As I can tell naman mayaman ka kasi nasa Switzerland ka kaya di problema kahit arts ang kunin mo. Pag ordinaryong pilipino lang di afford mag risk sa low demand job. Feeling ko din ang mga filipino di pinapahalagahan yung arts at small details sa bawat bagay. Mukha padin ditong nasa 80's 90's napagiiwanan mg ibang bansa na magaling sa arts at technology like korea, japan, china, etc. Gusto ko din multimedia pero realized ko tong totoong mundo. Nakapag work na ako kakatapos ako 2 years pero sobrang baba at malayo sa course. Wala rin ako nakikita hiring about multimedia dito online, free lance abroad. Kaya balak ko ulit mag aral ng pero comsci nalang tapos self study ko tong multimedia arts. And mag mag iipon ako pang masters ko sa western country at dun mag tratrabaho. Kung sana lang mangyari

I salute those who pursue their passion in arts, I mean having the course related in it here in ph is no joke, people will judge u na u r not being realistic o wala kang mararating. I mean, kaya nga tayo yung nandito para ipakita para pa sa susunod na henerasyon na we will succeed kapag pinursue talaga natin yung what our heart seeks for. Wag tayong susuko hehe thank u for this video! It does help me a lot.

Ate, I also have the same problem I'm always passionate when it is art-related and that's why I wanted to enroll in an art and design strand Sadly, I couldn't because of financial difficulties and distance I live in Bantayan Island, and the available strand there is just STEM, ABM, HUMSS, and GAS No art and design I'm a STEM student but I still want to pursue my dreams enrolling in MMA It is also a pressure for me when I take " Career Guidance " It's because everyone is in meds, engineering, architecture, etc. ( well, it's STEM, obviously ) And I have to pretend that I wanted to be an architect to fit in It somehow tires me to pretend to be someone I never wanted to be in the future By the way, I'm self studying in arts Or any art related and that also includes MMA I also love editing or filming, photography, digital or traditional art Despite in STEM, I'm also preparing myself for MMA

Guys, don't worry. I was also in despair because it took me a while to know what I really wanted. I am currently a STEM student because at first I wanted to be a chemist, but now I decided to take ABMMA and I wanted to shift in Arts and Design Track but in my school they don't have that strand and if I transfer to another school, it will be too hard for my parents so I gave up. But! My cousin told me that she know someone who graduated as a STEM student but is now taking ABMMA. That is why I am watching this video to prepare myself. So, don't give up on your dreams. Let's graduate as a multimedia arts student hehe.

Hello! I just graduated as a STEM student this May and I'm going to take MMA this school year. Well dati gusto ko mag compsci but been researching for months and decided I would pursue MMA and self-study programming. I know classmates and friends who will took courses that isn't related with their strand. Don't be pressured by the society! Take what you really want and kung saan ka talaga passionate. In the end we are the one who will benefit from it not them.

Same situation here😔 I am planning to take mma in colleges kaso feeling ko kulang skills ko. Di pa ako ganong familiar sa editing and photography.

Why is everyone saying you cant earn anything from arts? What about photography? Animator? Graohic designers? Videographer? People hire and pay them ALOT.

I'm a freshman currently taking IT, I'll stop after this first sem so I can take MMA next year. IT really just stresses me out, while MMA stuffs makes me happy. This video is really helpful for my decision making.

wahh~ im glad i found this video- im Currently a grade 11 ICT student, (which i took because my school doesn't have art and design strand and my school only have ABM, STEM, GAS, HUMMS and of course, ICT) And Im thinking about kung anong kukunin ko sa collage- Later on, I saw what MMA is and unfortunately konti lang ang video about MMA- also because of what you said, im kinda glad that i took ICT strand (which focus on technology, computers, programming, animations and stuff) and at least know how to editing works- also i enjoy drawing traditionally and Digitally. OMG SAME, nag ICT ako kase may offer na Animation course sa ICT strand sa school ko, Walang ring Arts and Design. and nagresearch ako kung ano talagang gusto kong kukunin course, and there nagclick lahat na gusto ko mag MMA. and now naisipan ko magsearch nang vlog kaya napanuod ko and nakita ko comment mo Hahaha

Maggragrade 10 plang ako pero excited na ako magMMA dahil supposed to be Animation ako. Dahil gusto ko maging Animator, kaso sabi ng mga kaklase ko sayang yung iba kong talent sa traditional and photography sooo second choice ko MMA anndd since may traditional, animation and graphic art or web design nagustuhan ko na rin siya kailangan ko nalng magaral ng editing and videography. Thank you po sa video na 'to medyo nawala po yung pagkaalangain ko po na piliin yung MMA as a course sa college.. kase Home Economics din po ang initake ko nung grade 12 po ako kagaya po nung nagtanong po sayo. Wala rin po akong alam sa mga animation na yan at kagaya nyo po.. nag eedit lang din po ako ng mga picture ko kaso sa PicsArt nga lang po HAHA at editing video o kaya po intro para sa video sa KINEMASTER. Mahihirap lang po siguro ako sa mga traditional arts po na yan dahil di po ako kagandahan mag drawing but i can appreciate an arts naman po. :)

Im on my senior year of high school next school year and idk which strand to choose so my mom suggested that I took GAS then pick a course when I get to college ... Here in our town we only have limited strands available for senior high students. And sadly they don't have the one that I want ... But I'm glad I found this video , I really wanna pursue my passion in arts and I think MMA has it all 🤩 Im so excited to pursue my dream. Owmejii.. I'm here for background info... babalik ako dito dahil nasa intro palang ako haha

3rd year na ako sa civil engineering, pumapasok sa isip ko na mag-iba ng course kasi love ko talaga yung photography. Minsan nagpphotoshoot kami ng mga tropa ko inaabot kami ng gabi tapos ieedit ko pa pero di ako nakakaramdam ng pagod kasi happiness lang naffeel ko.

Gusto ko sana mag take ng AD track, kaso super malalayo and super magastos ang mga school na mayroon ng track na iyon 🤧 napagdesisyunan ko nalang na mag STEM para di maging more of a financial burden to my parents lalo na sa sitwasyon ngayon. I want to become an animator and take the MMA course but I hope that I can still take that path despite choosing STEM over AD ☺️🙏

hi, incoming 1st year college na ako and habang quarantine hirap parin ako magdecide kung ano kukunin kung course bcs of finacial problem. worried ako sa tuition fees ng mga possible course na kukunin ko. im into arts din. can i ask po nasa magkano ang tuition fee kapag mma ang kinuha? or it depends on school?

I'm STEM student and mostly ng pinag aaralan is for engineering, meds, or archi. At first talaga nung grade 9 ako, I took STEM po kasi I wanted to be an architect, mostly traditional plates, basic lines chuchu yung tinuturo po hanggang sa autocad na, then later on this year I realized na mas umaangat ako in terms of editing, drawing especially portraits po either trad or digi, tapos mas narealize ko rin po na mas masaya ako roon. Sinuggest nila sakin is fine arts, but gusto ko pang mag explore that's y mma ang gusto ko ng kunin. But the thing is I'm a STEM student nga po for almost 4 years kasi gr. 9 po ako nagstart magtale nun. Now kinakabahan po ako sa mma kasi di rin available sa school ko po yung arts and designs. Ano po kaya pwede kong gawin? Tingin niyo po mahihirapan ako or okay lang po siya kung STEM po ako then MMA ang kukunin sa college.?

I'm currently grade 11 Humss student now but gusto ko talaga mag take ng MMA na course because i like editing and photography and that's one of my hobbies and one of my classmates before na palagi siyang nag papa edit saakin kapag may video presentation and one time ginawa ko na talagang rocket yong pag eedit kasi para may pangdagdag pamasahe ako pag uwi pero since i was elementary palang ako na discover ko na talaga yong kahiligan ko ng pag edit until now and i decided na kahit grade 11 palang ako alam ko na talaga ano yong i tatake ko na course sa college which is Multimedia Art

Im a ict student g12 so puro codes, programming, making games pero kahit isa wala akong nagawa maybe isa pero lahat kopya haha ipersue ko na talaga ang passion ko! If kakayanin ko?! Sana?! Hehe magagamit ko din ang skills ko sa editing ang photography soon! Wahh!🤣

Kung MMA po ba ang tinapos kong course, marami po bang posibleng stable jobs na pwede akong pasukan? And ano ano po yun kung sakali? Btw, great explanation po on your video. Sana mapansin niyo yung tanong ko since confused pa rin ako if I will take BSIT ba kase yun yung talagang stable na job ngayon and decent income or if I will take MMA because it is my passion. 😊

kaiyak naman HAHAH i'm a graduating ABM student and I really want to take MMA next school year ngayon ko lang narealize na I really want to take this kind of course 'cause feel ko dito talaga ako HAHAHA. deobi army hi! I think you can still use your skills in abm while taking mma(if u did po) Like you can sell you artworks or anything you made if you want to pursue mma ^^ you can do it! Just mix both your knowledge in abm and in mma

ako nga stem eh pero nag multimedia art ako kasi un ung sinasabi ng puso ko at yun ang sinunod ko hehe at mas nagustuhan ko din ang MMA nung napanuod ko ang vlog na to ❤ and ngayon hindi ako nag sisisi na nag MMA ako dahil masaya ako 😊 check mo yt channel ko may iuupload din ako kung bakit mma ang kursong pinili ko ❤

hello po ate thank you for sharing this talk to us 💕 subscribe na agad ako hehe. i am currently an abm student po dapat po kukuni ko sa college is tourism pero d ako sure kung yun ba talaga gusto kong career which is being a cabin crew also i dont really know if once i applied for that course i will enjoy it... mahilig po talaga ako magdesign,gumawa ng art works,maggawa ng powerpoint,magedit ng video,magdesign ng kwarto lol basta anything related to arts i will do my best to make it my work look presentable...unlike doing academic stuff kagaya ng math pumasa lang ok na.kaya napapasiip ako kung paano ko sasabihin sa mom ko na eto talaga kung saan ako confident, kung saan ako magaling.ang alam nya kasi wala lang itong arts churba.

Go for your passion. Dapat yung nageenjoy ka sa ginagawa mo pero una sa lahat pray for it and God will show you kung ano ba talaga direction ng career path mo 😊

Hi Ate HAHAHA sana masagot mo kahit through comments lang dito,,, ahmm Kaka enroll ko lang po this year as an Multimedia arts student here in DLSU Dasma, and before po ako mag decide na tumuloy dito i've watch many of your video's and it really help me na mabuo yung loob ko na i take yung course na to, despite the fact na sobrang 0% knowledge ako pag dating sa traditional arts, (film po kasi yung Forte ko hihi) pero gustong gusto ko po talaga matuto nang traditional arts ever since, Pero yun nga your video really helped me to decide on taking this course, pero hindi ko po alam kung bakit bigla akong naka ramdam nang takot at hesitation nung unti unti nang ini intruduce samin yung mga activities sa traditional arts, 3rd week of class nga po pala namin ngayon, ano pong best advice nyo sakin, "yung nakaka motivate para di ako mag shift hahahha" kidding aside, yun po sana masagot nyo, that would mean a lot for me po , thank you!

Ate, kinuha ko pong track is TVL-ICT Programming. Pwede po ba akong mag MMA sa college even tho i chose programming rather than animation? Thx

coming as freshman this sy and natatakot pa rin ako and still undecided sa tinake kong course ( mma also ) medyo nagaalinlangan ako sa talent ko sa pagdodrawing and i dont trust myself enough dahil expectations ng mga magiging future prof ko naiisip ko but this video helped a lot para di ako masyado kabahan❤️

@Abby Rose sa tingin ko lang siguro po u need basic knowledge about shading and proportions para may advance ka sa mga ka batchmates mo 😅

Dahil po sayo ginanahan nako mag MMA gusto ko din po kasi mag aral ng pag vivideo editing.

Ate, ano pong dapat kong kunin sa shs kapag related at naka focus lang sa film,animation or editing?
