easy for people to criticise....at least you are giving it a go.....more power to you
Morning Stu, I just wanted to say that I genuinely think that your trowel is a wonderful bit of kit to bring to the market place. I’m a 68 year old retired bricky, I first started a bricklaying apprenticeship way back in 1971 (some 53 years ago). And as you can imagine Stu I’ve seen most types of trowels, bricky’s and building projects in my time, so I do feel qualified when I say that I think you have done brilliantly Stu with this new trowel and I really wish that it had been around when I was a young man and still slashing them down day in and day out. It would have certainly saved me loads of time throughout the working day (and as we all know time equals money😊). Anyway mate, love your channel and your trowel, so keep the faith, ignore the moaners and keep ploughing forward with this first class product 😊👍.

Thank you so much for the kind msg Edmund. From a man with your vast experience I really appreciate that. It’s funny because I was just having a debate earlier with a similar aged Bricky with 50 years experience who thought the idea was rubbish and pointless. It’s fascinating how people see the world from different angles but what I think it boils down to is this: there are people that value time and there are people that don’t. How you use or waste your time will translate on to how productive you are. Every second is important to me, not Just in bricklaying but everything. I look around and I see lots of people wasting time like we are going to live forever. Time is valuable, treat well and be as efficient as you can be in whatever trade or duty you do every day. If you can save just 5 mins every working day being more efficient that equates to saving 8 days every year.
I stand corrected. Thank you for the explanation 👍
You've created a great product and should be proud of yourself well done 👌

Ordered one. I’m not a brick layer I’m a groundworker but I do a lot of block laying and also sometimes engineers DPC. My brick laying intuition isn’t as good as pro brick layers so the markers will definitely help with laying them accurately and neatly 👍🏻

Hi mate why does it ask for your experiance when buying one? I’ve always used a London style, I’m thinking about purchasing but I’m not sure to make the change from London to Philadelphia,

Hi mate it’s for deeper engraving marks on the pro compared to the DIY as it takes 4 time longer to product. Pro gets more use compared to diy

I understood that to mean conservation of labour, which on any job is one of the highest costs. Repetitive movements cost a heap over time, so if ya can load more mortar in one movement, it will save money. That's only logical.
