Minecraft just checks if there’s water close to tilled dirt in a radius, it would be stupidly unethical to code what blocks should the radius check will stop at and it will probably be bugged too

I think, the game calculates the height of the tip. One dripstone piece tip was higher

​@@Nice_Tree It gets more speed because it's higher, but the air resistance would rotate the dripstone, so it probably wouldn't hit with its tip. So you shouldn't search really much realistic physics in Minecraft.🙂
