I agree. Many humans are raised listening to that thug noise. It plants seeds. If people listened to this stuff instead and planted seeds of love and compassion in their children (rather than alcoholism, sex and drugs; smdh) we would have a completely different world. We live in a very sad world.

I personally have a bad mother, so of course I cried watching this with all the great mom's out there in the world

Songs like this have such a bittersweet feeling to them. Part of me wants to care because I never had/felt this way about my own mother. But then part of me loves it because I hope this how my kids will feel about me 1 day

I’m a new mom, and honestly not only crying that I hope I raise my daughter to come to me if she needs ANYTHING without fear of being judged, but also crying bc my mom has helped me grow so much no matter how much we fight she’s always my biggest supporter❤❤

I can feel every word, for nobody can love me like my mother can.... I felt so emotional listening to this and remembering all the things my mother did just to raise us and give us the education they never had before because nobody can support them for life back then prefers earning money than going to school though she and her siblings wanted to go to school. My mom did so much work at an early age to support the family. She experienced too much hardship and became mature. Instead of playing as what a normal child would do, she was working like a carabao to help the family. That's why, I don't want to give her any disappointment. I want her to be proud of me. Though I'm not there yet.... I want to make myself worthy of her sacrifices and sweat. Maybe 2-3 years from now, I'll be able to lend her a hand and let myself be the one to support her, and our family. Thank you, Mama.....

I sadly lost my mom in June of 2019. This song has helped me heal some with her loss. Thank you, Anson.

I really wish this was the case for everyone.. there are people without mothers, and people with bad mothers. As someone with a bad mother, I feel for the people who can't relate to this song and envy the ones who can relate to this song. I hope that this word gets better somehow, someway, and all mothers are as loving as these ones. And to those without mothers, I hope you find your happiness and your trust in a woman as special as a mother would be, and that you find a loving woman or man to call your mom.
