for 50:20 question, in terraform.tfvars we can set variable values as default so if we by mistake dont pass those values terraform will pick this values and apply.

While doing (Terraform apply value) it's takes that value outside

In Terraform, you can use variable defaults in your terraform.tfvars file to provide default values for variables. If a variable is defined with a default value in your variable declaration and you don't explicitly provide a value for that variable when running terraform apply, Terraform will use the default value you've defined.

When asked about CI CD you can explain general definition. What is CI CD pipeline, you can explain your project's CI CD pipeline. Kind of the same but can be used differently in different situations.

Are you asking about Terraform state lock ? If yes in that case we can use aws dynamo db to prevent from the Terraform state lock

There are multiple ways you can avoid the state lock. Workspace Isolation, Remote State Management, Locking Configuration, etc
