Because she is younger. This is at the start of her career. She is 19 or 20 in this video, now she's 47 and a mother of six!

We can't be sure if this was really filmed in 1998. The version with the egg was also supposed to be in 1998 - and she does look like she's 23 there. Yes - the irony of this song is that she does go on to have six kids. One of the nice things about these earlier videos - is that she hadn't graffitied her body with those tattoos. .

I think that over time, Anouk has become more versatile. If you notice, no one live performance of the same song in the same time period is like another. Her voice has grown to be rich with nuances not present here. Ik denk dat Anouk in de loop van de tijd veelzijdiger is geworden. Als je opmerkt, is geen enkele live-uitvoering van hetzelfde nummer in dezelfde periode als een andere. Haar stem is rijk geworden met nuances die hier niet aanwezig zijn.

Anouk is a super great musician, but this was a terrible performance, singback and playback, she does not like this at all.. but this is how it was back in the 80´s and 90´s, especially for TV shows.
