I remember subbing to your channel when I was living in China ( for professional reasons back in 2013-2014 ) , where I stayed for close to 4 years before coming to the USA . I have always been subbed. Probably because all I saw in China made me very very allergic to Fakes... Why is no one mentioning that absolutely gorgeous intro? You nailed Mark Knopfler's tone. "Why Worry?" is absolutely one of my favorites. Also, just a little piece of feedback, it's sort of difficult to hear your speaking voice over the acoustic background music. Cheers.

I dig the new look. Although, I will have to go back to one of your old videos to see what you look like with hair because, I seriously don't know. This is my attention span when it comes to how people look. As you know, It's been MANY years now, since I watched MainStream Media. No Mainstream Media, and I do not watch large YT Channels. Merry Christmas Cesar!! Why Worry, exactly! This is Charles (speaking of fakes, you remember this is what I was doing for Janssen in China).. Its been a long time, I hope you are well. I like Paul Davids channel a lot, so it’s sad to hear he was duped. It was an exciting video, and anything touching on Hendrix’s magic is going to get people talking.. 100% agree with you regarding hype, that being said if I got my hands on the Keith Richards self painted Les Paul he used late 60's with the history behind it I don't think I could resist the temptation to convince myself somehow the inanimate chunk of wood 'possessed' some supernatural properties. CGS has always been a low brow clickbait/clout chaser IMO, it goes with the territory for many (how do I put it politely?) talent deficit creators. Merry Christmas Cesar

@@CesarAllGuitar I just watched CGS's video, and the drama/clout chasing creators I described were there in his comments, & this is the disappointing thing the motivation (as it seems to me) isn't there to raise concerns about the guitar, apparently CGS uploaded a video, then reached out to the store & Paul, the reverse of what would be the case if it was sincere, but to stir up drama & with it views. I only watch Paul occasionally but in 6 months he'll still be doing his unique thing & the store will still be selling vintage/rare gear while the 'vultures' will be looking for their next free meal. Maybe the guitar isn't legit but if I was in the position to drop 10M on a guitar I wouldn't be using any of them as 'experts'

But Nihil, the point of my video is not to call out Paul or this CGS guy ( which by the way, if he is really suffering from ALS as he mentions in some of his videos will have a lot on his plate and I am sorry for him ) - is calling out the sheep who don't even dare to question the info they get from their favorite youtuber... Cesar my friend, What a new look, just like my son who has stated that he can't get his hair short enough and I can't get mine long enough! Main Stream Media, now that's a can of worms to open. Making money and pushing propaganda at the same time. I stopped watching it about a year or so ago to and don't miss a thing. But I must admit I still love watching "Forged In Fire". As far as the video in question, I have watched many of Paul's videos and I did see a notification pop up but I haven't watched it yet. I can agree with your assessment of his situation from watching your video, but that isn't really following up properly, but I really don't care. Sure I'd be jazzed to play the real guitar in question, what guitarist wouldn't, but is going to change my life in some grand way, no! Too many people need to wake up and I don't mean Woke! Don't really have much use for woke people and I am being polite calling them people. I hope your finger heals up soon. so you can play pain free again. Much respect for you and for CGS. It's not Paul's fault if he was misled. People need to blame the ones trying to sell it and still insisting it's real after all of this. Did they think that the armchair internet detectives wouldn't scrutinize every millisecond of footage and every comparison pic they could find? All the negative commenting haters out there need to remember that music is the international language that brings us all together. Instead of hating on one another, they should figure out a way to jam together. It will heal their broken, nasty souls. Peace to you and all who take the time to read this. 😊

I don’t think it’s a fiasco. There’s photographic evidence that the Hendrix Monterey black Stratocaster is not the same one in Paul Davids video for sell. CGS’s style might not be appreciated by everyone, but he’s likely correct here. Look at the previous pictures of the last auction sale. It wasn’t even confirmed then. A simple google search will lead you to it.

well, that is precisely the point of the video. The Fiasco is indeed Paul’s one. CGS is right in my opinion and that is what the video is about. I even say that in the video.

If Paul David was not over gushing and fawning over this black mid 1960s Strat it would not have been so bad. This was like he was awe struck like a naive Christian when being shown a splinter of wood from the so-called true cross in the age of holy relics. Fact is guys like Paul and Jimi could have gotten a great sound out of a Squier Bullet Strat and a 1970s cheapo solid state amp with their guitar playing skills.(Jack Pearson does this)
