@@RichardMichaelOwen IDEA FOR NEXT YEAR'S VIDEO: What's in the public car park? I've never been to Goodwood. The public car park at the Beaulieu Autojumble has some star cars, but spread out.

The Brits sure know how to do a motor show. You are doing wonders for their tourist industry. Who wouldn't want to try and get there one year. Great presentation.

Living in Toronto in my youth during the 60s I spent my time at Mosport. The Can/Am series was a favourite and in my mind, the LolaT70 was terrific in the hands of John Surtees and Denny Hulme. Racing priceless Ferrari 250 GTOs, are you kidding me? I'm an old guy now but I still have a bucket list and the Goodwood Festival is at the top of the list.

Thanks for sharing all those gorgeous cars! Hopefully the younger generation can appreciate all the hard work keeping these cars running and will take over as the present generation gets on in age. Cheers from Sidney BC

I could watch 4x this walkthrough. The live stream "only" covers the racing and a few of the vendors, so seeing the paddock is always the best.

I thought that I was just going to listen while working on my Lotus Seven. That did not work!

The GT-40 at around 9:50 was most likely a Ken Miles version with the plastic bubble in the roof to accommodate his immense height. RIP Ken.

If you get the chance to come back next year you should check out some of the other Concours events. Salon Prive, Hampton Court, London City and Heveningham or something like Silverstone Classic. All usually have spectacular cars.

Richard -Another great video. Sorry not to have met you at the show. This is my 10th year at the show and the best Show in Euope I know of. It is as much about the atmosphere as the cars. The car parks are almost better than the show. I spent over 4 hours in the pre 66 car park on one day. Where else can you walk upto 2 Aston Martin DB4 Zagarto's in a car park! The highlight was Jenson Button on the track in an E Type 5 seconds a lap quicker than any thing else until the gearbox broke. Well worth the entrance fee alone. Tell me where I need to go in the USA to top Goodwood. Thanks Richard. Hugh

No 550 Spyders they usually race the madwick cup with the Masers, Tojs, C-Type and DB3S

Thanks for the video. I really enjoyed it. That BRM V16 recreation is stunning and like you say makes the most incredible noise. Unfortunately, in period the car was incredibly unreliable, and it was unreliable at this event too. I hope Hall and Hall can take maybe a week out to do some proper testing with the car and try and iron out some of the bugs with the extremely complex and fiddly (yet glorious) design. They altered the magnetos and head sealing (cooper rings) with this car to try and make it more reliable, but I think there is a ton of more work to be done to it. It would be a massive shame to have gone to the extent of building up a new car from drawings/ copying the other Mk1 in existence to blow it with lack of preparation. By the way the blue 250gt swb you pointed out as the car stirling moss drove to win the goodwood tt is not that actual car. It looks extremely similar but the car you are thinking about has the number plate 7 SPA and is owned by Ross Brawn (The guy who bought an F1 team for £1 and sold it to Mercedes a year later for quite a bit more!!).
