    I have a question, when you mentioned your DS injector remote, is that necessary when you could just apply your chemicals with your softwash system and a proportioner? You could set your proportioner, stretch out your softwash hose and pressure hose and you'd never need to go back to your truck. Rinse with high pressure hose, shoot chem with the softwash hose, then rinse again with the pressure hose. Just looking for opinions as I'm building my first trailer. Thanks!

  • @AustinDavis24

    @AustinDavis24

    The remote downstream system will allow me to only use one hose. And not even have to break out my soft watch system unless I need to use it for stronger solutions. One hose is better than two.

    I bought a dewalt 4000psi 3.5 gpm , for Clean my house , but I don’t know how to mix the bleach and soap without damage the siding and briks , how much of each one per gallon of water I need , or if I need my down stream from machine to mix it

  • @MannyAguilarJr

    @MannyAguilarJr

    Жыл бұрын

    Let's assume you're using a pump up sprayer or a water pump and not a down stream injector. Let's say you have 10% Sodium hypochlorite bleach and need a 1.25% solution. You get your needed percentage and divide that by the current bleach strength. 1.25÷10=0.125. now you multiply that number by the 128oz in a gallon. 0.125×128= 16oz of the 10% bleach. So you add 16oz of the 10% bleach and 112oz of water to give you a 1.25% strength solution. As for the quantity of soap you have to play with that but you can add a couple of table spoon or up to 10oz. Avoid using a dish soap if you're trying to keep it cheap especially if the dish soap says on the bottle don't mix with bleach. You'll have some better luck with dish soap. 2 pods does the trick for me. If it's heavy thick mold then you might need a hard scrub brush for the brick like a deck broom or a hand scrubber. Down streaming percentages and ratios is still something I'm trying to wrap my head around so I can't say much on that. I believe a fully open down streamer gives a maximum of 20% of whatever the solution is. With that thought in mind you'd need a 6.25% solution to be down streamed so it'll come out the hose at 1.25%. so same thing 6.25÷10= 0.625 x 128= 80oz of 10% bleach. So 80oz bleach and 48oz water to get the 6.25% then the downstreamer knocks it down to 20% of that. 6.25% × 0.2= 1.25% out the hose downstreaming.
