Now found your channel and it's really good.I have a complete German M42 helmet which was bought in the 1970s so before reproductions existed. It has the liner and chinstrap and most of the original green paint. There is also a name painted on the inside rear rim with the same name written in ink on the liner The lining pins are tight. I've used your videos to learn what this helmet is.Thank you and this demonstrates the value of your work.

I strongly recommend when travel restrictions subside and hopefully they do that you check out dragon Man's in Colorado springs I believe. If you have not seen his KZread channel check him out. He has an incredibly large collection of military stuff. You will not be disappointed. He even has unopened cans of zykolon b. I have yet to go in person to check out his collection and hopefully I get that chance!

I am a lover of the War History of the European Theater since both my Grandfather (WW1) and my Father (WW2) fought in that Theater. ~Yes I want to hear more from the Old Timer and hear the knowledge he has in his Memories. ~When I win big in a National Lottery, I'll be at the next SOS after I've received my money.

I use to go and see Malcolm at his shop in Islington. He would close the shop for me and give me full range to open all of the display cases to have a close look at everything. On one trip I spotted a Waffen SS Infantry NCOs peaked cap it had the skull, but no eagle. The cap was in beautiful condition. Assisting Malcolm at the time was Tony. Anyway I took the peaked cap off of the shelf, it had been priced by Tony at £700. I asked him if he had a matching eagle. He went to the back of the shop and came back with an exactly matching, condition wise eagle by the same maker as the skull and he had affixed it to the cap for me. I asked how much the eagle was and Malcolm, busy with something else, turned around and said for you Allan £150, but then he realised what Tony had done. Malcolm had wanted to put the eagle on the cap before he put the cap out on display for sale at £1200 - £1300. Malcolm, bless him, bit his tongue and said it is our fault, so the total is £850. The cheapest purchase I ever made from Regimentals. He later got me back on a KC, SS Officers sword, an SS Officers dagger and a SS NCOs sword etc. I hope you are well Malcolm. Kindest Regards Allan

eBay is the place to look for reasonable priced WW 2 militaria, not one of these militaria shows, especially if the seller has no idea or does not care about what they are selling, you are going to pay through the nose when you go to a militaria show
