ANOTHER Top 10 Records I Listen To
Музыка
I might be breaking the vinyl community rules by doing this, but I had so much fun making the last video that I couldn't resist making another one.

Thank You for ANOTHER Top 10 Records Video 😀
Double Greatest Hits, This Is the Moody Blues
Love this brother. So awesome you mention “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for” which played significance for me recently. I love that song and a truly fantastic album.

Thank you! Such a great group that doesn't get enough attention they deserve.
Thanks fer another great selection o' faves. Yes I love Golden Lady from Innervisions, In God's Country from Joshua Tree 'n Dawntreader from Joni's 1st album. You featured Led Zeppelin II on yer previous top 10 excursion...Have you heard Train Does Led Zeppelin II? As the title suggests, Train covers the entire album track by track. An incredible rendition. Their version o' Thank You is so excellent!

You know, come to think of it...I do remember Train doing a Zeppelin tribute back in the day. I forgot about it until now! I have to go back and check that out again...thanks. I absolutely love Golden Lady... The chord changes on that are just beautiful. I love the piano passage at the beginning right after Living For The City. Thanks so much for watching and you take good care!
Another great segment! Great pics. Your taste in music is so good! Its called "VARIETY". Sorely missing these days. A lot of these bands and artists i listened through my Dads ears while growing up. Stereo was a big deal in my household growing up in the 70s and 80s. So I totally relate to everything you say. And your not alone about listening to certain songs depending on what season. I too am like that. Even with movies. Certain movies I can only watch depending on what season it is. Keep up the good work. If any suggestions, I would say keep the runtime a little less. Say 20 mins or so. Other than that, all is good. On a side note, if you are into home theatre, i suggest watching Moody Blues live at Albert Hall. Just incredible! Keep up the good work!
Beautiful collection. Greeting from Indonesia 🥂🇮🇩

Another great selection. When i was a year old in 1969 the who were reheasing Tommy just across the green where we lived. Deep purple also reheased there. Charlie Chaplin also went to boarding school there. (Hanwell comunity centre). Regards to the detuning, have you tried really heavy strings to keep the pitch ? We still play pinball wizard in our set too 😄. My fave Led zep lp is still the first one, used to play and sing dazed and confused with the bow in previous band. Great vid , look forward to the next one. Ps love the kinks too.

Hey, good to hear from you! Man I would've paid top dollar to hear The Who rehearse Tommy. I'm sure that was quite a task at first but they definitely found a way to present it to the stage setting. I can totally see why Zeppelin I is your favorite. Such groundbreaking establishments just on their debut alone. I already have mediums on my Martin so it should take that tuning alright. Always great to hear from you!
John Sebastian's Godmother was Vivian Vance... SO sad that I know that. I love the mention of Sebastian and the "Spoonful" in Creeque Alley by The Mamas & the Papas (1967)

Lol! Not sad at all, Even I didn't know that! But I love that song because of several mentions of friends and colleges.

@@ConglomerationCat I did the 10 albums I’ve listened to over the last 3 years and now want to do all-time. I think there’d only be one on both lists take care cheers
Thank you for another thoughtful video. Some other channels show the album and that’s it. No background. Nothing about how it may have affected their life. Maybe for a future video, you could do a overrated/underrated album list. Might be interesting. Take care!

Moody Blues with Denny Lane, Go Now
I know what you mean by "seasonal albums" "Quadrophenia" and "House of the Holy" are rainy summer day albums for me, since I first heard them during a rainy early summer ("Quadrophenia" on a water damaged 8 track!) Some albums are autumnal, some are winter, some are summer, some are spring. Feelings and memories. I miss my 2LP "Kink Kronikles" I bought in 1988, 1989 but I have the 2 CD version and all the tracks spread out over who knows how many Kinks CDs. I always laugh I say the Who are my favorite band but I have way more Kinks discs! We love how Pumpkin comes along and rubs up on the cover and you ha ha ha. The Lovin' Spoonful should be talked about and held in the same high regard as contemporaries as the Byrds. Unfortunately they just get viewed as an "oldies" act. Because Zally was coerced into being a narc they fell out of favor with the cool kids and imploded by '69. Shame. The Flamin' Groovies were big acolytes of the Spoonful too! I like some NRBQ, but not a huge fan. Have the 1st LP, a best of and "Scraps" I have always loved on "Tommy" that for all of Towser's lofty rock opera ideas, the music still boils down to Link Wray power chords. I have "Barnstorm" but I don't think I've played it since I bought it. I'll have to put it on the turntable soon. John

Hey, thanks for commenting! I agree with all points listed above. I have a compilation cassette I made of NRBQ because like you, Im not a fan of all their material but I managed to make a tape of all my favorites of theirs. Rats In My Room being one of them. I love The Who from 1968 to 1970. Such a transformation from a singles band to high pedestal status. Good to hear from you guys take good care!
Need to check out, Renaissance, Novella lp
