It is such a fun and truly portable gaming system, being able to flip it down and slide it in your pocket like a phone is literally the best thing ever

Been wanting to get into the PSP and this video helped encourage me to look into it some more. I am in love with Emulators that I can carry around in my very pocket.

Even with all the new Ambernic and miyoo and other pocket emulators the PSP is still holding its own. Unless you want to spend over 150USD. I am looking for something to upgrade to from my pspGo. Nothing has convinced me yet

Back in the day (like 2015) I installed a bunch of emulators on PSP go. I found that for the most part SNES was fine, but some games like Yoshis island were too slow to play. For GBA I found that almost every single game had this obnoxious screen tearing/visual artifacts that made the game unplayable for me. Some games didnt have this issue oddly, but those games ran with slowdown, so I am really confused about how everyone plays GBA on PSP. I want to try again, but does anyone know if these issues were fixed?

Cheap? Man I didn’t need a modded one since I knew how to do it but mine costed $250 in flawless condition. Most you will find will probably be close to $180

For the price of this thing just buy a vita guy's you can do all of this with a way better experience (and vita game) It's gonna by my opinion but psp go was to gadget for me her size was the only advantage and it's usefull just those day for this because of hack. It was to small, it give me headache and the button maniability was not very good instead of my psp. And if you really want portability even a android can run most of psp game. I sold mine brand new with stuff for it almost 250$ beside the fact i bought it 30euro when she's got a bad publicity and I bought a switch with it lol It's collector obviously, her size is the only interesting point, I don't know any console that can run psp game that small but like i said it's to precise / gadget and for the emulating it's not so good, lot of console can do it better (way way way better on ps vita everything run well + android emulated game like gta san andreas or ported game) with luck you can have a ps vita for 100 $ instead of 180-200$ for psp go, stay far of aliexpress and take care of fake one (there is a lot those days) + in both case you will have to get a micro-sd if you want to stack all of you're game

I like your comment. For me the size was everything. I want to put it in a pocket. Inside pocket on a suit or in a front pocket of a pair of jeans. The perfect size for me is a Gameboy pocket or this. Maybe a MiYoo mini plus, or whatever their next iteration is

"N64 emulators.." There is only 1 N64 emulator for PSP and only like 4 games run, without sound. "Sega Master System emulators.." *Shows the Microsoft MSX emulator instead.... Not sure if I can trust the accuracy of this video.

You nailed it that I said master system and not MSX. and some games work on 64, some most have slow downs. I would love a recomendation for a PSPGo sized system that you would recomend.

@@ScottBruder I would recommend staying away from N64 altogether. No game runs good. Even Mario Kart which is usually one of the easiest has horrible glitches. Not worth the time or effort, not to mention wasting space on your storage device. I like gpSP Kai for GBA, SNES9x TYL for SNES (some games still have screen tearing or lag), Pico Drive for Genesis, and MAME4All for arcade. MVS can be good for some Neo Geo games, but the larger games have a problem when you exit. It freezes up the PSP Go and makes a pop noise before completely shutting off. That can't be good for your device, so I'd avoid that too. RetroArch is available for PSP on their official website and offers some more systems but usually standalone emulators are better.

@@shiftto The emulators I listed above that I like are pretty decent, but don't come into this thing thinking you're getting 100% accuracy and solid frame rates. You're using a PSP, not made to emulate other systems, so yes, you will see screen tearing and some frame drops. If you want good performance, always go with original hardware for best results.
