Another Moog Jam - Subharmonicon, Mother 32, DFAM and Moog Matriarch - "bricks and concrete"
Here is what I created yesterday evening with this beautiful gear.
I recorded everything on one stereo track into my DAW.
No effects added - mixed down just as it came in.
In the second half of the video I patched the audio signal of the subharmonicon into the left delay of the matriarch.
Thanks for watching!

Really nice sound!
Nice and solid kick on the DFAM.
Huge Boards of Canada vibes. Amazing
Love it...especially that kick from Dfam
Great jam! Very inspiring... I have a Mother-32 and DFAM on the way to add to my Subhamonicon. This definitely inspires me to get to it immediately!
Sometimes the youtube algorithm brings you gems. This is one of those moments. Very nice work man!

Thanks a lot! I think it’s maybe because I do not recently publish videos and I don’t care enough for the video quality. But comments like yours motivate me to work on it. :-)

Hello - I just bought this Moog Sound Studio 3. -Please tell me how do you have this connected to your audio interface etc.(?) I must have a fkd up setup, because I’m only getting sound from one speaker. Please advise if you get a chance. - Thank You. Great Work by the way.

You can either use the included mixer and then go into the interface (then, you should have one mono signal- coming out of both speakers). Or you use another mixer (the same way). The best way would be to connect everything directly to the daw,- if your interface has enough inputs. Check in your daw, if you chose a stereo channel- then there would be nothing wrong with your connection- just switch to mono and select the right input. I hope that was helpful. Best regards!

If you followed the instructions included in the MSS3 then you probably just need to check the mixer. There are two little switches on it that you probably need to switch to mono.
I especially like that you went with something in A major. That’s one of those keys that I can’t help myself from NOT working in. Everything sounds so dramatic in A major (F# minor, same thing). And you would be the first demo of those 3 units that didn’t sound all “techno DJ” like. I hate that shit. Defeats the purpose for using anything moog. There’s plenty of digital shit out there made especially for the ravers

I enjoyed this quite a bit. It reminds me a lot of this recent piece by Gattobus: kzread.info/dash/bejne/p5tozcuoZs3JnLA.html. Both pieces have an interesting tension between melancholy and a soaring or rising feeling.
