The few times I were unemployed I would be offended to be regarded as a customer. I was out of work and seeking help, not buying a product. Am so glad I am retired now and finished with this sxxt.

Some people do not want a muppet filming them and putting them on youtube when they are at a low point in their life. They could also have other reasons, such as victims of domestic abuse that do not want to be seen on youtube video after fleeing from the abusive partner... GDPR would cover this with request for removal etc, but this muppet clearly does not comply or know the basics of GDPR.

On the GDPR subject, In the jobcentres I have been in they even have confidential information of other people on the desks of the employment advisors. Jobcentres are one of the worst for breaching serious GDPR & Employing generally horrible people.

Why are those that attend the Job Centre called customers, TLA why did you call them customers? Do they go in to buy something, or to go in as a tick box exercise to get their benefits? (We all know that the sort that go to Job Centres are the workshop and layabouts that want to ensure they get the JSA, definitely not customers)

TLA I like what you do, your one of the best, just want to give you a heads up. A long time friend of mine who works at HMRC was saying they have a team looking into content creators, they believe many creators fail to disclose on Universal Credit or complete Self Assesment Tax returns. I guess someone in "power" got upset and pushed this through?

Customers choose to pay for a service, this lot flees people without consent.

I have seen few managers as incompetent as this one. It is outrageous that he refuses to acknowledge people's personal information as data he is responsible for and should protect. Is it possible that the only competent person on staff was a G4S security guard?

Government give away security licences to the unemployed and then hire them in ridiculous numbers to manipulate the unemployment numbers..especially with immigrants.

You do realise that by filming it, the auditor now is a data controller for that same data. By not following GDPR himself, he is also breaking the law. How do customers who signed in, get their name removed from HIS copy?

@@kensukadventures628 they could request it but its highly unlikely a court will issue a warrant to get footage like this deleted. If it is secured data then the person who captured it can't just go and post it about anywhere they please. The person who captured it also isn't in any breach for having said data, the only way they could get it deleted is in a court, and that would only happen for serious national security data breaches. For the likes of a few names your trusted to do your due diligence with said data and not post anyone's personal information in a public domain. At the end of the day the breach falls on the original data controller, highly unlikely the ICO will even fine the DWP for data breaches.

@@debatable1984 Incorrect. By capturing the data you are all complaining is a GDPR breach, the auditor is also now a controller of that same data - just in digitial rather than paper form. GDRP compliance must be observed, which means safe storage and handling of said data, having a clear GDPR policy and means for people to request removal of data or to request copies of said data. Its all basic GDPR compliance and non of it requires going any where near a court.... You are correct it is highly unlikely the ICO would issue a fine to the dwp for this - they would be more likely to issue one to the auditor for filming without regard to gdpr, for a commercialised channel.... not just filming other peoples data, but people as well...

What irony. The security cameras have a purpose unlike the auditor. The security camera's are regulated and follow GDPR - unlike the auditor. The footage of the cameras is stored safe and secure and will be deleted shortly unlike the auditors unknown policy. The cameras do not record audio conversations - unlike the auditors. The footage of the camera's are not uploaded onto youtube - unlike the auditors.

Most members of the public are protected from needing to comply with GDPR as their recordings are for purely "personal and private use". Clearly this video is not for personal use (as its uploaded onto a commercialised channel to make him money) nor private use - as its uploaded to a world wide audience and were are sitting here discussing it.... There are many exemptions to needing to comply with GDPR, however, "looking to see what jobs are available" as he stated - is not one of them..... If you cannot find a exemption, and you are processing data that falls under GDPR then you must comply with GDPR. Its a auditor con-trick and myth that auditors and all members of the public do not have to comply with GDPR....

Hi , you should go to high Wycombe job centre all the G4S are sat on there phones , and they leave everyone’s details who have appointments on display at the desk the lady who should be sat there , who never is , I’ve ask twice not to leave my name on display, but still they carry on , great video again need more of you to protect us and are details to be put out there

Being a public nuisance just because you are educating them about GDPR and using a camera when they told you to stop when they gave no authority or right to do so. What could be easier? Film the notice boards, take your photons home and peruse the websites in your own time. Oh, hang on, you're in Jobcentre! Just report the GDPR breach, then they might actually learn about their own responsibilities regards the subject! Like many Jobcentres, they haven't managed to equate the need for a phone to scan QR codes! As far as I remember, the centres have been told before that G4S can't have access to sign in information.

When watching this it doesn’t make you want to go to a job centre with all this security marching about… why so much security?

Money laundering. Hand outs of massive government contracts to friends and family. Nearly a billion was paid out to such companies during covid, some testing sites had upward of 30 security. Earning the boss just shy of a million in a year, thats for 1 site.

if you are filmed, you have the right to ask for a copy of the footage, the right to ask for deletion of the footage (where it is possible) - as the dwp will comply with GDPR unlike the muppet of an auditor. If he films you then you have no chance.

One guard was being professional the manager and the other bloke weren’t makes me laugh that these guys don’t even know their own policies they put in place it’s an absolute joke. The way that they treat someone with a camera doing something that’s clearly legal and in their policy hand book is a joke I can’t believe that they treat members of the public like that apart from the nice security guard that knew what was going on and what he was doing at no point was he rude or disrespectful he is how members of that company should act towards the public. If you are that security guard and are reading this thumbs up fella good job.
