I'm a new worship drummer for my church. I been playing drums since 2006 and have been playing cover songs since then and now I got sober from alcohol since 2019 and I was saved July 12th 2020 and now I started learning Christian music and now I'm a studio drummer and I'm recording my own music with other musicians. God is good..without him I wouldn't be here. Now I don't play mainstream music. I Only play God's music on drums.

This song is about the 3 faithful men - Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego - who got thrown into the fiery furnace by King Nebudachnezza’s order because these 3 men refused to worship his golden statute. The guards that threw these 3 tied up men into the fiery furnace all died from the flame because it was 7x hotter than customary. Then king Nebuchadnezzar saw 4 men in the furnace walking around in it, and he was confused because he had only ordered 3 men to be burned alive, and he described the mysterious 4th man in the fire as looking like a son of God. So, this is what this song is about. “There was another in the fire” is about the mysterious 4th man in the fiery furnace - The Son of God Jesus Christ, who carried these 3 men through the fire, unharmed, and not even smelling like smoke.

Hello Worship Drummer! As a percussion performance major and a drummer created to worship, I just want to thank you SO MUCH for posting videos like these and for everything else that you do! I have been drumming for a little over seven years now, and have been drumming at my church for 4.5 years! In fact, later this summer, I am going to be touring for the very first time with a local Christian rock band! This is an educated guess Simon is endorsed by Evans so my guess is Evans g2s on tom batters g1 for reso. The kit judging by the way the bass drum looks is a Ludwig maple sizes 13x9 16x16 18x16 22x16. Snare drum is definitely a Ludwig black beauty it’s obviously triggered. I saw som pictures on Instagram of it and it looks like an Evans heavyweight for the snare drum head and cymbals I have no idea lol again I’m just guessing but I know it’s a Ludwig black beauty 14x 6.5 for sure. To take an educated Guess based on videos and his Instagram. He has a C&C drum kit but I think the drums are bit shallower than normal with 13x8 16x14 18x14 22x16 at least from I can see from the pictures and I think he said the sizes himself on his Instagram ( take that with a grain salt) Cymbals However are Heartbeat Cymbals and the Sizes are 18" Raw crashes for Hi-Hats 22" Custom light ride (Left Crash) 24" Custom light ride (Right Crash) 24" Jazz light ride (Ride) Simon also uses a Roland Spd-Sx and his main Electronic system which will 'Most Likely' connect to Ableton to run the System and Roland Rt30 triggers on all Drums. Snare will always be a Ludwig Black Beauty, Simon has been using that snare since the Aftermath Miami live album from my perspective. 14x6.5 is the Size of that snare drum. He also Uses Evans drumheads with Promark Sticks which is a Signature stick for him which you can find on his Instagram. But from the looks it is a Shira Kahsi oak stick most likely 5b based on the DreamxTeam Video which you can find on KZread. Simon uses a Evans Powercenter Reverse dot for the Most part which can be seen on his Instagram. For his Snare head. Evans G2 batter for Tom's and G1 for bottoms. For Dampening He uses the Snareweight Dampeners. Brass no.5 on his Snare M1b for his High tom M80 for his floor Tom's With a mix of Moongels DW hardware from the looks of it and that is Simon Koblers Setup from my perspective and Research.
