The Boston Celtics just got embarrassed on their home floor in a Game 7. There could be major changes this offseason but the biggest decision is what to do with Jaylen Brown. If Boston doesn’t offer their second star a super max extension he could be traded before next year.

    Brown is doing his best cuz Tatum is choking. And he needs to do that cuz they have a bad cuz who's play is isolation only. This will happen when you have a bad coach and cant command a team. @@waynewhitaker234 They actually have almost the same identical play. More on iso and slashing. The problem is coaching. If you watch them missing tell them to drive or create a pick and roll offense to destroy the zone. But their coach cant even tell Tatum or Brown to stop shooting. that is a bad coaching. They are young and have the speed advantage but they kept shooting outside to get their rhythm. Good coaching teams rely on inside shots if their outside is not falling. And yet Boston coach let them shoot whatever they want even though they are shooting bricks already. Everyone is blaming Brown but dont blame Tatum. Lmao. Tatum twist his ankle and he is 25 yrs old. Lebron step on AD's foot TWICE and yet he scores 40. Tatum is always in the playoffs and I thought he already learned enough during the times when he faced Lebron back then. And yet he is having hard time to carry this Good celtics team on his back.

    Well Yes you are right, but that's not at all what happened, Mazzulla was not the headcoach until months into the season, he was supposed to be just an intern headcoach a place holder, the team and likely Tatum (I don't think Brown likes Mazzulla, Brown's shots got taken away a lot this year, how many times you see Tatum and Smart play like the duo but not Brown?) and other players vouch for him. Celtics didn't hire Mazzulla because they had to, they actually didn't have to, they could hire another guy and put Mazzulla back into 2nd row.

    That’s what Jalen and Harden both want though. Harden(&KD) just wants to get paid playing ball without having to be the Floor Leader; while Jalen wants the opportunity to be The Man with the Ball. If Brown gets into the position to be The Man™️, that’s when he’ll work his butt off to fix his handles and improve other aspects of his game. (The *Exact* same way really Dame worked on his game after getting that position in Portland. After the broken inbounds play gave him the Kyrie-like “clutch” fame & name.)

He will lose and continue to have issues and will blame that next teams front office also for another reason. He's developing into a primadonna like everyone seems to do who forces a trade,.and then team that trades guys like that get more and end up much better. The hawks would be the team to take such a risk because they're going nowhere anyhow. Black players have gotten homes in Boston before even if it's not the most ideal for race relations. Black people move to Atlanta actually and find things they don't like. I'm in Atlanta NOW and let me tell you, it's pretty bad in the area. I'd prefer being around Boston myself..

    The Tatum/Brown combo is great. But they need a legit third scorer to help IMO. Derrick White was frankly paying above his pay grade, and Smart/Horford are 4th or 5th options.

    I usually hate NBA proposed trades cause they aren't thought out, but the first one with Portland/Celtics/Toronto almost makes sense. You need more picks for Jalen Brown cause his value is actually very high. But arguably Boston is better off with Paskal and OG over just Brown. Portland is better off with Jalen over Simmons/Sharpe and picks. And Toronto is better off rebuilding and OG's value apparently isn't 3 picks like they want and Paskal's value is not high at all at his age and salary demands. So it kinda works all ways

  • @dustinsirois4788

    Ooof Hawks would be interesting... You get rid of Tre dor Brown straight up if i am the hawks. Roll with Murray and Brown as your backcourt great defensive backcourt along with both solid offensively. You got Capella to rim protect keep use Bogdan as your SF and trade Hunter for Finney Smith if you can get that straight up maybe add a cpl of 2's. That gives you Murray, Jalen Brown, Bogdan, Finney Smith, Capella. Elite defensive team 2 very solid 3 and d players solid ball handling and playmaking. Now you package Collins with your picks and either go huge for a superstar or build out more depth. Maybe you call the clips and offer Bogdan Collins and 2 firsts for either Kawhii or PG i am sure they are just about ready to blow that shit up now.

    He can't force a trade to Atlanta because the Hawks wouldn't have the cap space to sign him as a free agent. So to say he would only resign with Atlanta wouldn't really stop a team from trading for him because if they traded for him he couldn't just leave and go to Atlanta the next offseason because the Hawks have no way of signing him without a trade so he can't just go there.

    No you misunderstood. Jalen can say he would only resign with the Celtics, if they do a sign and trade with Atlanta. Otherwise, Jalen Brown could walk and leave Celtics for nothing. That's what he meant by forcing a trade.

    @@terrylorenz6858 No. It is exactly what he said. It might not have been clear, but it is what he said. He said Jalen wouldn't resign anywhere except Atlanta. When he say "resign", it clearly mean resign with the Celtics and then be traded to Atlanta. He could only "resign" with the Celtics. He can't "resign" with Atlanta when he wasn't signed with Atlanta in the first place. The "resiging" means with the Celtics. He's saying Jalen Brown could force the Celtics to resign him and trade to Atlanta or he signs somewhere else and leave Celtics with nothing.

  • @terrylorenz6858

    @terrylorenz6858

    Жыл бұрын

    @@maplenerd22 Go back and watch it. You are not correct. He says Brown could say "I won't resign anywhere except Atlanta. Which would hamstring all other offers and put the Hawks in the drivers seat." He is not saying what you are saying. Plus if he does what you are saying (tells Boston to sign and trade him to Atlanta) that won't work either. If he resigns the super max deal they can't trade him for a year, so they can't trade him to Atlanta then. And he has no leverage to say Atlanta or I leave for nothing because he can't sign with Atlanta because they have no cap space and the max he can sign for with a new teams vs the max he can sign with Boston for is a lot less (like $70M less). So none of those scenarios really play out. The fact is that Boston keeps Brown if they want to keep him no matter what. The only way Brown gets moved is because Boston wants to break it up. If Boston wants him, he isn't going anywhere and really has no say in where he goes, unless he wants to give away $70M.
