Wondering have you ever sailed to North America?! I’m from Gloucester, MA and have been enamored by sailing my whole life. My uncle and aunt owned a sailboat they lived on throughout my childhood and would spend time on the boat with them during summers sailing around New England and East Coast. Just wondering if you have heard of Gloucester, MA. Americas Oldest Seaport? Such a beautiful natural deep water harbor! Famous French/Spanish explorer, Samuel deChamplagne called it “Le Beauport” in late 1500’s before first Europeans emigrated!

Despite being handed physical as well as mental challenges, Eric bites the bit and sails onward. Relying on his own instincts, intuition, and his vast experience sailing the stormy waters of the North Sea, Eric’s goals and challenges cause a healthy person to quake in their boots. Your videos are getting better and better, and they were excellent to begin with. It's also great to see a Channel that consistently focuses so much on actually being out there on the water. My own personal downside of watching your Channel is one of regret. Some years ago, I turned down an opportunity to sail from Norway to the US via Greenland in a 40-footer. You have made me realize my mistake.

You are the coolest solo sailor in the seven seas. This time, for the first time, I managed to follow your cruise week in week out; thinking about you out in the sea and wishing you the best while I was enjoying your latest video in the comfort of my home has been a very emotional experience. Glad to see you [almost] made it back, looking forward to your next news.
