(plus it kept falling off the tracks anyway, i felt like i was going to break it just with normal use. 😅) i didn't mind seeing my clothes, but you could put up a curtain if you don't like it. i ended up storing the door under my bed and it was actually pretty easy to put back when i moved out. I think if you removed the sofa, and replaced it with the desk, with the chair back facing the wall, you will have a more open work area that has sunlight, and by moving the sofa you can move up your bed and therefore have the chance to open up the closet door fully. I just think having the sofa is just making the room more cramped and one just doesn’t need that much furniture to sit on in one room

I have just discovered your channel and it's very interesting, as I often like to imagine and draw floorplans myself. I could only agree with your furniture arrangements, until this video. With your placement, the sofa is too far away from the armchair and, although esthetically pleasing on floorplan, it would be very awkward to sit and talk to someone so far away from you.😬 I am not an expert, but I would do it this way ... I would sacrifice one hanging closet in the corner and put the bed there, with feet towards the window. I would buy one wardrobe with sliding doors and put it in the desk nook, if extra hanging space is needed. The desk would be on the window wall facing the sofa (with front left corner by the window for views and natural light, especially if the person is right handed). In front of the desk I would put some low storage unit with a plant/lamp/interesting art piece and armchair next to it, facing the sofa. 😊

I would put the bed on the upper left corner, head against the wall and feet facing the closet. Put nice headboard since there's enough wall space to allow for it. Also, maybe consider reducing the bed to a twin-size for even more room. Then the desk can go on the upper right corner adjacent to the windows and facing the door for maximum natural light when working. The couch can go to the foot of the bed facing the right-side wall with the coffee table.

You can barely get into those closets and at the bureau like that. I would put the bed with the head-side towards the bureau but far enough away from it so enough space to get comfortably behind the bureau and into the wall closets remains. Then I would put a large enough headboard or another even larger divider behind the head of the bed so a natural devide in the room gets created between the study and closet area and the rest of the room that is more for living and sleeping and build from there. That way the bed is still in a very peaceful spot where it is even more hidden and stowed away from the entrance while the bed and the living area still get lots of natural light from the window. I think looking out from the bed onto the window can also be very nice as you can go to sleep with the dark and wake up from there with dawn or the light of day respectively. And on the other side of the divider the closets are in a calm spot, a bit like a walk-in closet, and the bureau is encapsulated as a place of deep focuss without many other distractions.

This is a nice layout, but you somehow glossed over the desk that's awkwardly in between the two closets (and the bed now). I'm very curious to why that desk is there at all. Not only must it be quite depressing to work in this dark and confined space, but I also think that if your desk is that small, you probably don't need a desk at all! If she does indeed need a desk though, then she should get rid of the couch and put a bigger desk - of an actually usable size - there. Having a couch in a room that already has a bed in it seems rather redundant anyway.

The desk in the final is in a Terri le position for wealth. I would put it at the far end of the room and let the bed “see” the back of the couch. If you need a dresser get one to fit between the two closets and it could even be high to have the same capacity as wide one. … a welcoming towards the windows. Health and wealth for the desk. Maybe a mirror on the r-wall so the bed will “see” the windows even more- which could be horizontally tiltable to stop the view of the bed when desired.

What's the point of having sofas in a bedroom? Do you sit with your visitors in your bedroom?

What are you doing with the desk squeezed in between those two doors with the back to the room and far away from the window?

Hey can you do a school classroom that’s a rectangle with a horizontal wall of white boards and two doors, and a back wall of counters and windows? One of the shorter walls has whiteboards as well. Need to know where to put the teacher’s desk, thanks!
