the improvement from ep 2 to 10 is wild. Keep it up!

So much improvement in understanding of ideal line and solid crosshair placement for the rank. 2 improvements are maybe taking time to aim (killing enemy with bodyshots when they weren't even looking is one example) with more movement prioritizing accuracy over speed and when peeking around corners, swinging confidently, reduce jiggling that you sometimes do tightly. This might be because you believe that it will keep you safe, but since you are working on mechs, you need to be able to take duels confidently. Even if you lose fights, that is fine as long as you will have both techniques of jiggling and swinging wider when you reach higher ranks. TL;DR (or what I wanted to say) 1) more time to aim + movement > instant shoot + minimal movement 2) wider swings -> gunfights have more weight -> more focus on gunfights -> less focus on everything else -> aim diff bronzes jiggling -> lots of bad quality gunfights -> bad habits -> staying alive + winning by means other than gunfights -> ranking up -> getting less confident with gunfights due to playing against better enemies -> getting afraid to take duels. You have better decision making than some of my ascendant teammates 😭 you choose your fights so well and never rush yourself, i struggle with that myself… A really good tip that helped me was that there are a lot of lines on the walls and boxes around the map that actually help crosshair placement! You can also get a feel for head height when you look at teammates around you. Another tip that helped me was to imagine where the enemies would be when clearing angles, so you’re ready for the fight. Don’t forget to stand still when you shoot too! Love this series good shit man

Something I suggest doing is using your flashes to stall on post plant. Like when Phoenix was pushing the sage on defuse on the first game, just throwing a flash buys an extra 2 seconds sometimes. Just a little tip.

Just a quick tip Gabe, make sure to only reload your vandal when there are 10 bullets or even better when there is less than 10 bullets. It will give you more time for gunfights as you dont have the constant need for reloading. The phantom, which is made for mainly spraying is a different story and constant reloading is alright to an extent. I hope you read this and it helps, love you man!

another tip, go into the range and spray with a vandal on a wall. Notice the spray pattern and how random it is? To control it, try and push down against it and make an upside down T shape. This will make the spread much smaller and it will help a ton for spraying!

Gabe ive been in this road from ep 1, as a hardstuck ascendant for 7 months now, from the gameplay im seeing from you, i say you deserve low platinum high gold. I really love the episodes and the next one i really hope you get bronze 3, it might take some time but you got this, once you learn the basics and improve at the game, you can easily get up to gold. Something to note is that ive heard Kayos winrate is usually lower in iron to gold etc. due to him being a difficult character to play, so actually sitting down to learn him is all the more interesting and impressive. A little tip from me (whos silver lmao): what i‘m currently focusing on and something that ive noticed in your game from time to time is that ALWAYS sticking to cover is really important if youre not chamber, jett or smokes. Maybe you‘ll also want to pay attention to that. Loving the series so far, and im intregued to see how youll improve and what guns youll be playing by the end of this rank!👍👌

Me personally, I just enjoy the game, and don't get too down when I lose. Atm silver 2, peak silver 3. I just make sure to see improvement, even if it is slow.

That’s something I’ve had to work on so much. One of the most important tips I’ve learned to avoid tilting when I die in rank is to shift my mindset from frustration to learning. Instead of focusing on the fact that I got eliminated, I take a deep breath and analyze what happened. Did I make a positioning mistake? Was my aim off? Did I miss any crucial information from my teammates? By treating each death as a learning opportunity, I not only improve my gameplay but also keep my emotions in check. This approach helps me stay calm, maintain a positive attitude, and ultimately become a better player. It’s all about progress and growth, not just the immediate outcome of each round.

As a player who has went from the bottom of the ranks to ascendant 3 somehow 🤣 i would say the piece of advice that helped me the most (gunfight wise) is to stop thinking about other aspects of the game and just focus on slowing that aim down and taking your time in gunfights

I was trying to get to gold on my old account then i got fed up and made a new account and i got placed gold 1 lmfao

Hey just wanted to give a little tip. You dont always need to reload your gun because i saw a few times you were reloading it when you had like 20 left in the mag.

quick tips your crosshair is slightly to low try not to crouch because in iron/brozne there crosshair is already low at the ground and try not to reload after every kill cuase usually a enemy teamate would swing to try and trade and stay clam when your shooting

Don't feel the pressure of hitting gold in 34 days, it'll take time. Do I wanna hit it, yeah. It's probable for me since I'm Silver 2 though. Look at your improvement more than the PNG Rank icon. Make sure you focus Hooj's advice he gave you. You'll improve drastically if you keep to his routine. Are you better than yesterday? How can you make sure you are better than the day before?

Bro, I think a follow up with woohoojin would be great. Also, i need to remind you "only shoot when you are (ur crosshair) on your enemy's head" :3 and also strafe and 2 bullets burst while shooting.
