I love God. And I have to say that in this fictional comedy, I loved the God character. Clever plot and God is a babe with an attitude and a sense of humour. Maybe part of a metaphor. In the 12 steps, they refer to a higher power as “the God of our own understanding “. So it would make sense to Juliette that God is a dry witted person somewhat in her own image ( therefore she can understand herself being in the image of this particular representation of God.) . I like the certain amount of irreverence the writer treats the subject with, while putting a Canadian twist on it. I have always believed that British Columbia is God’s country. It’s why I love British Columbia. I live up on the map always from the Gulf Island where this story is set. Overall, this plot is clever, naughty, and thought provoking. I love it. Well done.
