No trade for me tbh, CPOP didn’t have clean price action. Also was under the 200 EMA it broke it but couldn’t base a support on it and went back down.

Today was a rough day for me. Everything was going against me

Missed the initial push up on CPOP (need to wake up earlier) so had a small loss today. Love the recaps!!

Today was a small green day. Just one trade was done with TAOP. I got in for $1.32 at 833am and got out just before 835am on the wick. It was a quick, clean, and easy 18 cents a share. Prior to that, nothing had looked good to me all morning, so I clocked out and called it a day while green. The smallest of a green day is always better than the smallest of red day. Many of the other top movers were erratic, penny stocks, or stocks whose price was higher than my comfort zone.

@@ProdLeo I have suffered from "late entries" lately. This meant I was buying in just before it drops. I smacked myself on the back of the head and said "stop doing that". I got in earlier than I was comfortable with. When the rate of rise on the price started to cool down, I sold. For the record, this is a hard habit for me to break. On the 10th of May I made the exact same mistake. I bought in late, just in time for the drop.

Hi Ross today I was in time on this CPOP stock too, I placed a limited order but I can’t get the price right when the marked open, how you manage to order a price in premarket

You did the right thing- Nothing popped up- a lot of sideways action- I am paper trading so i can't buy those stocks pre market that you seem to be making $$ on, by the time the market opens at 9:30 those stocks today were chopped liver! THANKS Ross for your honesty.

had a red day after 3 consecutive green days. Im happy was disciplined and midigated my lost. ended up loosing 380 with a total buy of 7k of CPOP. Ur the man 4th day we ended up playing the same stock but this time i had the red day. ❤ didnt spiral or keep going and lost 30% of my average daily gains! Was a good red day for me like u say😅. Enjoying watching and learning from you.

Hi Ross, i just start trading from last 3 months and from last month I am using Das Simulator, and in future I will use CMEG with DAS because of my capital. Now my question is, if I shift to your charting software then can I connect CMEG or IBKR with your charting software. And do you have any videos of hotkeys functionality, not just for entry and exit, also range order, and also risk management hotkeys of your charting software. Or do I have any option to only purchase your course and live stream and continue with DAS ? And one more question, your pro membership is little expensive almost 4k$, so do you have any option to trial of your live stream with course with the minimum amount for 1 or 2 days, please don’t take it in a negative way. I know you are a very good teacher and I am enjoying your teaching and speaking style but still before spending 4K dollar I just want a trial for at least one day.

CPOP was definitely really tough. Not many clean chart patterns to position with, if you werent in already for a few nice 1 min candles and that red to green near the open, it was tough to win on

So it wasn't just my lack of experience... Anyway - paper trading day 4: still in the green. CPOP was the one I traded today - I entered on a green candle at $3.05 that made a new high right after you sold your first position at 7:34 AM 😄 It went up a bit and then started going down, so I sold it at $11 loss (observation - if you do enter far above 9 EMA and the price still goes up - sell very soon, don't hold it. Only hold winning trades bought close to 9 EMA). Then entered at 7:55 AM at $2.96, caught pretty much the whole move up and sold at $3.27 as soon as I realized the price is reversing. Missed the 9 AM and 9:30 AM moves, as I was distracted by the stupid TAOP, hoping it would get another boost. Probably good that I did miss those, as without being extra careful I could as well lose money on those due to chopiness. All in all - $20 profit for the day - smallest so far, but profit nonetheless.

I need to start trading premarket, I feel like I traded market open today but could not find any trades. Every time ross has a green day I have either a red day or no trade day, when he has a red day I have a green day even though i use the same strategy

This is a case of wanting whatever the "other guy has". The truth is pre-session breaks so many people. Stop-loss tools don't work pre-market. This means your fingers ARE your stop loss. That means the sell decision can be impacted by emotion, which can be an account killer. I play pre-session, but only because I have to go to work immediately after market open.

First, love these recaps! But I have a concern. I pull up my own charts to follow along and I noticed that I have different data - the highs are not as high, by like $.50 in some cases. Isn't the purpose of real time data to provide the same data across all traders? What am I missing?

Really kicking myself for not trading pre-market today. Waited to jump in until too late because I guess in my greenness I decided it wasn't a good idea to trade on the pre-market. Ended up losing 12%. Lesson learned. Ready for tomorrow

I never have much luck chasing those gap ups / squeeze ups. I've built a scanner to find them BEFORE they run.

I saw taop 40 seconds after the news came.out made 200, added another position for the break of 1.50 just like you but it fell and got out with 100 dollar win. Small positions but consistency is key! CPOP was to choppy for my taste

I traded GTHX. First time trading with money so I took a small position. $150 gain!

I understand that Warrior Trading has a rather nice scanner for members. It even has an audible "BEEP" when a stock is climbing rapidly. This is a nice feature, in case you don't notice it on the scanner screen. It is too easy to get absorbed analyzing a chart up on your screen and miss the movement on most scanners. The beep lets you know to eyeball the scanner.

Could you possibly net more money using think or swim, even though you get worse fills, you’d pay less fees. Maybe try a small account challenge in think or swim and find out
