Fun fact! aliens TC was made by justin fischer in 1993 (the same year doom came out) and he made it without any modding tools (: that might explain the wierd missing areas, but it could be the kontra komm version youre playing

I played the original back in 1994 on my Dad's crappy 486 after downloading it off a BBS, lol. Still consider myself blessed to have done so.

I remember being blown away how good the Aliens TC mod was when I found it online in 1995. Today I enjoy playing Brutal Doom more than any modern FPS games.

Small tip: If you go to Options > Display Options and turn off Texture Filtering, then you'll end up with a better looking game overall. The option basically just blurs the sprites to try to lessen the hard-edged pixel look, but ultimately it just makes everything look murky.

100% agree. Pixel look every time for me. I think texture filtering looks awful.

you can also try hq2x hq4x scale2x scale4x to get a nice looking filtered look to doom/mods

Thanks for trying out Angelic Aviary. Always awesome to see people give the mod a shot. Did you get chance to fight some of the tougher angel varieties? (Mancubus, Arch-Vile, Cyberdemon, Mastermind ) Their abilities are vastly different from vanilla. Fun fact: The mod has some (tame) fanservice when combined with La Tailor Girl.

This is going to sound weird but as an 80s kid, I'm surprisingly in favor of La Tailor Girl as a concept. I used to play games like Athena in the arcade and I honestly think being able to see a tiny bit of softcore T+A is a healthy thing for boys. It makes me kind of sad that modern games make such a big point of trying to shy away from any type of fan service whatsoever because they're afraid of 'offending' women (when I'm pretty sure most women wouldn't dwell on it if they weren't pressured to).

Stylish hell was actually designed to be play with La Tailor Girl and the monsters have unique voice lines based off who you are playing as. It's pretty lewd but can be quite challenging. It's surprisingly fun

You really dont need Brutal Doom because Project Brutality exists

"Angelic Aviary"..."Stylish Hell"..."LA Tailor Girl"..."Zako"... *Thematic cohesion,* anyone? The growing lack of perception for sensible aesthetics is concerning, to say the least. Modern societies are becoming aesthetically tone deaf. Most reasonable course of action would be to find matching texture packs or mods for the maps.
