Hassan Abidur Reja Jewel started singing very early in his childhood when he was but a mere student of Grade II. He was encouraged to follow his passion by his parents. As he matured, his romantic and melodious voice captivated thousands of listeners of all ages.
Jewel's first solo album was released in 1990. Subsequently, eight more solo and 50 mixed audio albums were released. Jewel's solo albums include: Ek Bikeley, Amar Achhey Andhokar, Ekta Manush, Dekha Hobey Na, Beshi Kichhu Noy, Bedonar Baluchorey, Firti Pothe , Dorja Khola Bari and of course, his debut album - Kuasha Prohor .
Among these albums, noted singer and composer Ayub Bachchu composed the music for seven. Bappa Majumdar and the late Pranab Ghosh did the compositions for the other two. Other than thousands of concerts in and around Bangladesh, Jewel has performed internationally, in Japan, India, Nepal, UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Singapore, Italy, France, USA, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Jewel is also an event consultant, producer and director in the field of tele-video productions.
