Morgana is not even annoying bruh and even if you think him leaving was unjustified he at least apologized profusely in his 8 & 9 confidant rankups.

It's kind of a slippery slope the whole Mona leaving thing. Yes, Morgana leaving because he felt "unimportant" now that Futaba was doing his job felt entirely selfish and rather childish of him. And then when he was confronted about it, he tried to distract from the object discussion by clowning on Ryuji, which was definitely out of line and he deserved what Ryuji threw back at him. However, people need to understand that he is a flawed character. Morgana has a bit of an ego, and like most ego-driven people, they want to feel validated in their groups, so while Morgana can technically count as annoying because of his fatal character flaws, he's not annoying to where he becomes unbearable to watch. I personally don't care for Morgana all that much, but he could be worse. Teddie is proof of that.

@@marxoselcabron1501 Morgana is a Magician character. Magicians are meant to have the character flaw of immaturity. His "ego" is a facade he uses to mask his insecurity around not knowing who he is for most of the game. It is only when Morgana is alone with Joker during his confidant events do we see who Morgana actually is. Morgana ultimately does what he does because he desires to be seen as an "adult". Morgana is MEANT to come off as childish, the people who complain about this either started with P5, or suddenly forgot how the Magician archetype has ALWAYS worked since the start of the series. Morgana has no identity outside of the Phantom Thieves, quite literally. So of course he's going to feel insecure, or rather more insecure than he already was once Futaba entered the picture. Players apparently didn't pay attention to Morgana's confidant events. It wasn't Ryuji retaliating that caused Morgana to leave, Ryuji was merely the final straw. Morgana was dealing with a myriad of other issues that players seem to forget about, or never bothered to pay attention to. Not to mention that through that entire incident, they were all becoming fixated on fame. Like it or not, Morgana was right to call them out, but his aforementioned immaturity and insecurity did not allow him to do so gracefully. Morgana doesn't actually understand humans until the end of the main game. Morgana's TRUE character arc is the entirety of Mementos. The Okumra Palace is merely a transition into the final act of the main story. Even if Morgana hadn't left and encountered Haru, they'd have all been coerced into that palace anyway because that was Shido's plan.

One of the reason why people call morgana annoying is because in the vanilla version of persona 5 game if you do 2 activities after school, morgana will force you to sleep and will make you unable to do any night activities thankfully they fix him in royal

Morgana is definitely not annoying (only during the okumura palace tho ngl) other thsn that i dont find him annoying i kinda love the little goober he's so cute and goofy and retarded sometimes and just plain awesome 10/10 would pet again

Morgana carries the Phantom Theives MULTIPLE times throughout the game. He was the reason they know how to fight, he assembled the team, he tought them theaving skills, he pays for you if you're broke, he sets you up for a shot with Sumire, he exposed Madarame, found Okumuras palace and a bunch of other stuff. Ryuji gave him shit back, too. Yeah, Morgana did it more, but there are plenty of times he gets disrespected. It's his whole character ark. He wants to be appreciated by his friends. All of the P5 crew had their own issues that they can be criticized for. Hes flawed, but hes a real G. ALSO ITS NOT MORGANAS FAULT THAT YOU HAVE TO SLEEP. He's just keeping the game mechanics immersive. If he wasnt there, joker would just think he was tired anyway. Justic for Morgana

Morgana's simping was way worse than Mordecai's. He was so incessant about it! It was honestly off-putting! At least Mordecai learns lessons and betters himself. And isn't like Morgana who is on sight with Ryuji for little-to-no reason. It makes his complaints when a real issue with Ryuji occurs to be a "Boy who cried wolf" situation Also, the spider in the Raimi trilogy was genetically engineered, not radioactive. But yeah, MJ did string those guys along and it was a dick move. Though I believe a possible causative factor to be her abusive father, whom we see glimpses of in the first movie. She lacks positive attention from a positive male figure in her life and maybe this affects her in some way? Maybe she's looking for it and a meaningful connection in some of these other guys? As for Amber, she was annoying but got so much better in Season 2. I hear the reason she reacted that way was because she didn't like being lied to

Wtf is Morgana doing on this list? That cat isn't that bad.

The P5 anime at least makes Ryuji's apology to Morgana worth a damn. The anime is still bad tho.

Hey, I like Morgana. Persona has a lot of characters who have been through some stuff in the past and fix their mistakes, growing as people. Actually, as much as I love Persona 5, I kinda hate the fanbase. I'm sorry to say this, but P5 fans think with their crotch. Morgana and Mishima are disliked despite their whole character ark centering around making a mistake and fixing it. They're generally good people. However, a mascot and a twink don't sell. Meanwhile Futaba is one of the bosses and acts very selfish at first, but because she's a cute Gamer Gurl, she could basically cause 9/11 and people would still like her. And Akechi is literally (SPOILER) and a smug-arse scumbag but he's hot so I guess it's okay. And don't get me wrong. I like Futaba. She's one of my favorites. But people are FAR too willing to excuse Futaba with shit that applies to literally all of the main cast. Edit: Oh, also about Morgana simping for Ann..... People are allowed to dislike that, it's reasonable. But this game is made for a specific audience, remember that. Maybe Japanese people find this stuff charming, but "Mascot characters" are usually written to be like that. Teddy was even worse. It's supposed to be comedically charming, but comes off as annoying. But Morgana is on a very mild end of that spectrum. It could've been worse. They could've made him an actual pervert, THAT'S a popular trope. Or have an annoying catchphrase. (Yes, I know, but that crit dialogue is a game thing, not a character thing)
