Also, you're not taking into account that a VERY larged amount of those people live in 3rd world countries, or don't have access to the internet. Best Anno ever. Key reason for me: as far as I remember 1404 is the last game that kept me in a single map while later version added other realms on top of it (submarine, other planets, other continents). As a result, there is always something going on out of my scope which removes a key element/feeling of Anno. You do not have access to anything at anytime which robbs me of the illusion of having everything under control ! 1404 for the win!

Next week: the UK economy is a PERFECTLY BALANCED GAME WITH NO EXPLOITS... *STONKS*

Man this is awesome I still have my physical copy and have very fond memories of me having absolutely no idea about what I am doing but having a blast in my early teens

I LOVE this game and play it a lot! I got addicted playing 1602 (which I still play) but this is my second favorite.

love this game. Loved getting the achievements and abuse the AI. While it still did some stuff better like the campaign, victory conditions, single map, etc, 1800 is overall a better experience nowadays with all of its QoL features.

I mean, we can agree on that, but how exactly is the AI broken? (My younger, probably 16 year old self will cry at this, since I love this series that muchM but still :) )

I think, Anno 1800 is very similar to 1404 it just expands on some concepts and gets more complex. That's why I love it, It still feels like 1404 but it technologically progressed from that time

Also "Rope...mmm, kinky." I love the way you think.

we all know anno is a perfect game with perfect balance but yeah, openTTD is perfect

@321 shot1000 Anno games have always a 9 in the title if you count the summ of the digits. so there aren't many options.

The intro alone is enough for a like keep up the good vibes tea man ☕

This game is absolutely amazing. I grew up with Anno on the DS, and when I saw 1800 being released but couldn't afford it, I binged on 1404 instead. :)

Eclipse T. Exactly the same with me. I’ve played about 15 hours of 1404, I’m pretty impressed.

Me and my friends still play this game(its the best Anno so far in our opinions) and i cant wait to play Anno 1800 the hype is real

@@persi8306 to be honest after some introspection it seems like an irresponsible amount of tea bags. If spiff has gone through with it he could single handedly destroy any potential prime tea strands from his beloved smallhold tea plantation.

I do love me some Anno 1404, the only rts i dont go for a military victory every time.

Ahhh, I remember my first item duplication glitch quite fondly. It was of course the one in Pokemon Red/Blue. Good times, with no more grindy endgame for battles vs friends.

I love the anno series. played except for the first title everyone, from 1503 over 1701, 1404, 2070 even 2205 and of course 1800

Anno 1800 exploits by Spiff is something I've desperately needed for a long long time.

The Spiffing Brit is breaking one of my favorite games! I am so excited! 😃
