Moon Alhtar Marhoom so respectfully and rightfully calls her Malls I Tarannum Madam again and again while most people use either Malka I Tarannum or Madam but not both at one time. Thsnks Mooin Akhtar

great video of Madam Noor Jehan as always she is well spoken eloquent very graceful looks bit frail but vibrant with sharp focus and care for Pakistan and music i was unfortunate to listen her songs and watch her films as a teen but as i come to my more conscious senses i adore her love her respect her and miss her she was lot more then just a world class singer for Pakistan may Allah bless her soul. @ezeeusb You´re so right! Me too, I used to listen to her as a kid when my mom put on her cassettes. And Mom always told us about her, her movies, life..all she knew about Madam jee. But when I grew up, I truly realised what a beautiful and special soul she was mash´Allah. Like you said, she´s always had a passion for Pakistan, a very loyal and true one. He´s been trained by his legendary father since childhood and when he sang, that Indian judge almost died of jealosy and looked shocked (judging from his face). So please all of you: if you love Madam jee, learn from her and be proud Pakistanis! Respect yourself and then insh´Allah others will respect us too. Treat everyone nicely but don´t give up your values, your shanaakht/ identity in the process. Pakistan zindahbad!

sachay fun ki kadar koi karta nai, balke sacha fun apni kadar khood karwa leta hai, examples are mam noor jehan, lata je, nusrat fateh ali khan, mehdi hasan, abida parveen, and many more, per aaj kal k artist ka art dikhawe ka art hai, pakistan k in legend singers k bare mai india ka koi bhi singer himat nai karta k kuch bura khe, coz they know they were true artists and passionate about what they were doing. kiya aaj ka aatif aslam ya amant ali khan what ever.

@ezeeusb ..Not giving up her amazing Urdu and her "aadaab"/salaami. Just look at the kids who went to Indian Idol or whatever. They were packed with talent but they were so oppressed and even changed their way of talking (Janta, Namaste, Aashirwaad etc.). I´m not against India but they should play fair. Some of them even refused to say Pakistan, and said "Parosi mulk" instead! And a whole lot of them ridiculed Pakistani singers even if those were the ones whose songs they copied!...

Shayad Mujhay galti lagi ho, per madam ko bouhat say awards millay hain aur sab say bara award hai Allah ki de hoi izzat aur logon ka pyar jo unn k Iss duniya say janay k baad bhi qaim hai. Yeh naimat her kisi ko naseeb nahi hoti. Allah unhain gareeq e rahmat karay. Aameen Jahan tak Abida jee ki bat hai woh aik behtereen funkara hain unn k aur madam ka koi muqabla nahi hai. Unn ko jo milla woh unn ki qismat aur mehnat k mutabiq hai. Madam tu bemisal hain.

@ezeeusb ..har waqt iss hi baat pe complain/gillaa karte rehte hain ke "Pak mein humein appreciate nahin kiya jaata..". Are! Pehle khud to apne mulk ko appreciate karo, phir mulk tumhari qadr kare ga! I think we should have friendly relationships with India, Madam jee had it too. LEKIN!....on equal terms. Not that we go there and then have to abandon our own ways just to fit in or be accepted. Madam jee was very friendly but she went there as a PAKISTANI, not sucking up to anyone....

The audience is acting too dumb like there hands are broken they can't clap.
