Fans have been patiently waiting for years for the much sought-after and previously unavailable releases from ANNIHILATOR's back catalog. The Canadian heavy metal/thrash metal band, founded in Ottawa in 1984, having sold more than three million albums worldwide, and lead by guitarist and founding member Jeff Waters, remains beloved by metal fans.
Now, earMUSIC has confirmed the re-release series of many releases from the catalog!
METAL II kicks off the reissue series, which, over time, will unveil special configurations, additional bonus material, and exclusive and previously unheard new tunes from the band.
METAL II arrives on February 18th and has been given an incredible overhaul with the one and only Dave Lombardo (Dead Cross, ex-Slayer) killing on the drums and lead vocals "re-invented" by the great Stu Block (Into Eternity). The guest list on the album is a giant heavy metal party, featuring a dozen KILLER artists from bands like Lamb of God, Arch Enemy, Children of Bodom, Nevermore, In Flames, Trivium, Danko Jones, Anvil, The Haunted and more.
I sat down with Jeff for an energetic conversation about his plans, his legacy and much more! Keep your eyes open for more content with Jeff coming your way!

Canadian Heavy Metal/Thrash Legends Debut “Armed To The Teeth” Video; New Full-Length, Ballistic, Sadistic, Nears Release Via Silver Lining Music.
Canadian heavy metal/thrash legends ANNIHILATOR today reveal the official video for “Armed To The Teeth,” the opening track off the band’s explosive seventeenth studio album, Ballistic, Sadistic.
Founding guitarist, vocalist, producer and principal songwriter Jeff Waters of the track: “ARMED TO THE TEETH is simply about how one should never judge a book by it’s cover. If you poke a bear with a stick, abuse or bully someone or treat a living creature with disrespect, be prepared that it might turn around and retaliate, far beyond what you ever thought possible. The retaliation could be ballistic and sadistic. Whether it’s about a music industry jerk bullying an artist or about a kid being bullied on the way home from school; karma will catch up to you and bite you in the face. Someday. Although this is a very heavy and aggressive song, we chose to represent the subject by clips of a teen getting bullied; a serious, common and relevant subject to touch on… and we thought it more appealing than showing this 53 year old musician taking shit from someone in the music biz! Enjoy the Metal”

Great interview as always, Jeff Waters is a great guitarist and artist; I like all Annihilator's albums, starting with the legendary Alice in Hell; one of my favorites is the album Feast, it really rocks! Cheers!

Thanks for sharing that! Yeah man, so many good and underrated albums by Annihilator! I like Feast as well, and the previous eponymous albums is good too; one of my favorite songs is The Trend

I saw them -91 as special guests to Judas Priest Painkiller tour, at that time it was only heavy metal in my head so I didn´t pay attention to Annihilator. Now I think I have missed out of a good band and have to do something about it. The journey to the consert is a story in itself and ended up with police escort to the arena (unfortunetly without the bluelights) On another matter, I have been kicked by cows, hit by a sledgehammer and fallen of ladders, all that combined dosn´t hurt as much as kidney stones.
