The Band is 3 men that have been together over 10 years. Christopher Annen base player, back up singer. Henning May, Lead Singer, piano, keyboard, guitar. Severn Kantereit, drums, guitar, and variety of shaker type instruments. The rest of the band plays with some songs and plays these song in concert. They have wonderful arrangements as well as Henning May incredible voice.

How cool that Dominik comes with this rock band from his own country. The band is called AnnenMayKantereit .I've heard a few songs from them and I like it. Thanks Dominik and Mustafa 💖

Hi Coby, I'm very happy I have duscovered this band finally, seems I've been sleeping under a rock in regard of them... During the last years I've discovered (and recommended) many talented artists from all parts of the world I really love for one reason or another, but I was missing a German band I would really proudly present to my friends overseas or elsewhere... Of course there are some big names like Rammstein or Scorpions and others that gained a worldwide reputation, and of course they are all outstanding artists, but you know, I think to really get me, music does need to have a certain amount of soul to it, and I missed that with those other acts, but HMK and of course Henning's voice have that in abundance... When I told my friends and collegues at work about HMK most of them laughed about my excitement and said "yes, of course we know them, they are great" - well, at last I caught up, and there are still a lot of people who never heard of them just like me some weeks ago, so I can still recommend them... @@Hundhammer I had known them for a number of years. My brother has 3 sisters-in-law and a Daughter who live in Germany. All 4 of those women are big fans of AMK so they let me hear that when I was with my brother. Nice about them is that they cover well-known songs from great artists but make the song their own. As an example I'm not a big The Beatles fan but AMK sang Let it Be and Come Together more to my taste. You too have a nice day Dominik.

Oh Mustafa, I had written a longer comment, but now I see it is gone... :( - ok, again, maybe little shorter: The band's name the last names of the three founding members Christopher Annen (guitar, harmonica), Henning May (vocals, piano, accordion, melodica, ukulele, guitar) and Severin Kantereit (percussion)... the bass player came later and is not in he name... so usually they are a four man band, but they like to collaborate with other bands and musicians so you get to see them with lots of different people... they gained worldwide attention when some English covers went viral on TikTok, now several of their videos have between 50-100M views and it's funny to read the comments from all parts of the world... you would love "Valerie" with an additional female singer duetting Henning, or Roxanne cover from The Police... If you are interested there is an article on them on Turkish Wikipedia, actually they started as street musicians in Köln, so maybe you've heard them during your visit to Köln some years ago... - Mustafa, that was a wonderful reaction, thank you very much! - I'm just so disappointed that my other comment has gone or never arrived, it had more links for you... anyway, you may continue as you please, with that beautiful hymn about football (Kein Stern), I sent you the link for a Turkish lyric video. or some of their viral English covers (Tom's Diner, I Can't Get You Out Of My Head, Roxanne, Valerie....) - Glad to hear your dentist has time for you tomorrow! @@coffeereaction Yes I know and love that very intense version from the Moulin Rouge OST (I love Tango music and that arrangement has a strong Tango-Rock vibe, really energetic, don't remember who sung it, but if you loved that version you'll surely enjoy the cover by AMK & another singer from Milky Chance, very raw recording, almost feels like their street music, unique arrangement with a great harmonica... it's my favorite version now, it has more grid than Stings smooth singing, but at the same time is more soulful and laid back than the hyper dense Moulin Rouge version...
