The older she is the more beautiful she gets, astonishing! Her voice and that smile are out of this world.
I am a simple man. I see an Anekke video I instantly upvote.
I saw her live in Thessaloniki many years ago. Since then, i haven't heard a singer live that can be as flawless as her. She is a gifted diamond who works hard and will be offering to all of us her majestic voice. I feel like i need to say a "thank you" to Anneke!
some people keep looking down on her solo work just for the fact that it's not metal or anything like that, they have to accept that this is the kind of music Anneke likes to play. In my opinion, the side of her as a soloist seems great to me

While I like metal more than almost any other genre, I like when metal artists explore other genres in solo work

This piece demonstrates that Anneke can do any style and it is always amazing, she is really an universal artist!! I remember well her first records with The Gathering!

I feel you. Old fan here as well. You said it very kindly how bad this song is and how boring. I believe she would fit better in a band (like she was) or to have a strong composer supporting her. Her solo work is a hit or miss for me and my personal taste. Still love her though no matter what

"Flaming Red runs like a jet" Shows the poss 1800cc triumph powered white 1969 SAAB 99. To be sad thou, I have a 1984 Cherry Red 99GL 5sp with the 16v Turbo engine so she fits the lycis ;)
Don't ask me why, but it is is reminds me of a Tori Amos ,which I love ,but wish Anneke do more rock oriented stuff ! :)

Anneke has too much talent to be limited to rock only. She still does heavy rock stuff like VUUR and works with Devin Townsend.

@@Gevoltful I admit, I miss her with the Gathering. Would have loved if she did both of this current music and the Gathering when she didn't do her solo stuff but this is her choice and her life and we have to respect what musical direction she thinks is best for herself, especially when she is a mother as well as a musician. Doing multiple projects is alot to ask when children are involved.
