Just a short video showing the use of an Oxy/Propane torch (In this case a genuine "Smith Little Torch", Not the import knock off) to anneal a hardened steel ball bearing.
It won't work for all alloys and you may need to "soak" the ball in the heat for much longer than I had to, however, the process is simple.
