Stop playing! CONTINUE this show, it's VERY well written and very well casted. Has a Big fanbase in Britian, has fanbase in Australia, and USA. What do we gota do to get a season 3 Please.

Ugh, the cowardice of a well-wisher!!! The mother of my college partner decades ago got one of these. Accused me of 'being a lesbian and or homosexual." If I wasn't so torn apart, I would have laughed back then. But now I laugh and wish I knew who it was that was such a coward. The whole irony is that her daughter brought me out! Another well-written to the heart scene by Wainwright. Hoping the writing has Ann remembering the genesis of their love well before the Season ends. The diaries show how much they loved each other, and depth of caring by Lister for Walker. I love the reality of it all so any written dramatization I have to take with a grain of salt and enjoy their amazing performances.

Also Miss Marsh(became Mrs Duffin), Miss Duffin (Dr Duffin was ER guardian, AL stayed at Dr Duffin house for some times), Mrs Milne, Lou(M's sis), Miss Vallance(Tib's girlfriend).. the list goes on...🤣

I don't think you can compare what was with what is. Adults who interfere in process they don't know nor understand. Who forget their first love? What you have with your present partner cannot and must not be compared. Every relationship stand on it unique merits for every two people love is known to them only and no one can interpret love or understand. Love is mysterious and beautiful Anne lister has been there where else Ann walker is new to the scene and getting the best of Ann. When you search the world and you meet people who have no interest in committing to you and one day you meet someone who will cross onces for you how can that be questioned. Anne is older and Ann is young. It is not as if Ann met Anne whilst engaged. She was that old mate she was never to be married becoz of her supposed illness. Ann did her a favor.

Hope miss walker live miss Lester. An she realize what she lost an go after her. Sorry. Ms walker deserves better then ms.lester.

As a gay person who loved the first season of this show - Ann Walker deserved so much better, and I hope she got it in real life

No. There is no reference to the sister sending those notes. It was an anonymous person. It would not have been a family member, as the writing would have been recognized. The show indicates the Rawson brothers knew about Lister's trouble at boarding school. More likely, the note is from a business rival or from Walker's relatives (not the sister, though).
