    +Sven Winchester Meryl Streep is fantastic in most things she play in and that is what won her that award. HER NAME. Viola Davis should have won that award but because the name Meryl was there the Oscar voters gave it to her. Viola Davis made you feel every emotion in that performance in The Help. She didn't loss to a tough competitor, she lost to THE name and other things..........Haven't been that many Best Actress in a Leading Role awarded to women of color in all the major awards shows. Just saying

  • @SpacedOutJetson

    @SpacedOutJetson

    8 жыл бұрын

    kingbey fan nah it sounds like you're just upset that one of your favorite actresses didn't win. Meryl Streep has lost countless times so your logic is flawed. Also, by your logic, every time actors like Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert DeNiro, or Will Smth is nominated the Oscars might as well just hand them the award, right? You know since there names are so big and all... And I suspected you would bring race into this. If that's the case, explain how Octavia Spencer won that same exact year. The Oscars goes by the performance, not race, you keep telling yourself otherwise to make yourself feel better about her loss. She just won an Emmy and that itself is a major award show, she made history. What more do you want?

  • @kingbeyfan2598

    @kingbeyfan2598

    8 жыл бұрын

    +Sven Winchester First off I said Best ACTRESS ( a female ) in a LEADING ROLE. Octavia Spencer was Best SUPPORTING Actress. The only black woman to win an Oscar for a LEADING role was Halle Berry. I didn't say anything about Best ACTOR ( a male ) so why bring up Leonardo, Robert or Will. I said women of color do not win many awards in the category of BEST ACTRESS IN A LEADING ROLE at the major award shows. Bringing up Viola win at the Emmy's in that category proves my point. Only one winner in 70 years of that award show is crazy. A lot of people didn't even know when Viola won that she was the first woman of color to win that award. People was shocked but not those who aren't blind. You don't think she should have won is your opinion but my opinion will not change or the result. She was robbed by the beloved grandmother of the Oscars and I am sure race did play a part in that. If you don't think so that is not my issue. My favorite actress shines with or without the awards she deserves. So what more do you want?

    +BlackGirlFly In this situation with these exact circumstances yes. But it would also make sense for Bonnie to do it if she stayed or for Connor to do it if Michaela didn't intervene. These exact circumstances were led specifically for Wes to be the shooter.

  • @blackgrlfly

    @blackgrlfly

    8 жыл бұрын

    shadowdragon0820 Connor COULD have shot her, but as his friend, Michaela wouldn't allow that. I honestly don't think Bonnie could have gone through with hurting Annalise, they have a weird relationship and Bonnie wants her forgiveness and approval. The writers definitely didn't know going in who the "killer" was going to be because they make this up as they go along to make it impossible for people to put the pieces together. Once they got to this part, it probably only made sense. I'm sure they dabbled with other outcomes, but this one probably had the best long lasting effect.

  • @blackgrlfly

    @blackgrlfly

    8 жыл бұрын

    shadowdragon0820 Lol. Tbh, given that we don't know much about the dynamics of Bonnie's relationship with Annalise, that line felt kinda overdramatic. They definitely did that to leave it open for her to possibly be the "killer", but had she done that, we'd of expected it because that line was fresh on our minds. Remember in the first season when we found out that Frank killed Lila? There were hints throughout the season, but nothing too major to where we'd automatically suspect him. Bonnie shooting Annalise would have felt predictable because everyone suspected her after that, and dammit she already killed someone this season and pushed someone off a ledge! This outcome will lead to our questions being answered, the main one being: "Who is Wes?" We'll soon find out. Did you even read through and comprehend my last comment before you immediately responded? Don't try to undermine my intelligence.

  • @shadowdragon-sg8og

    @shadowdragon-sg8og

    8 жыл бұрын

    +BlackGirlFly she didn't push anyone off an edge. Sinclair was already dead. She threw her off the edge. and yes, we might have expected it if Bonnie did it, but that doesn't make it less plausible. Take for example how in American Horror Story hotel, everyone suspected John to be the killer. Half the season later we found out that it was true. There are many instances in TV where everyone knows the truth before it is revealed and it turns out to be everything everyone expected. this show clearly has the capability to do so if they wanted. all I'm saying is that you shouldn't count the obvious choice out.

    How to get away with murder? You don’t! No matter how brilliantly, ruthlessly you covered it up, it would eventually crawl back to bite you hard in the ass (or the stomach, to be precise). Maybe the moral of the show is, you should always come clean about what you’ve done in the first place. The more you tried to cover up, the messier this whole caboodle would blow all over, ultimately to the point where everything’d just get out of control, and every moves you make would definitely lead to another big crisis. Whether you did it for your own interest, or glamoured it with the thoughts that you’re protecting your loved(!?) ones, you’d blindly drag them all down the hell hole with you, with the by-product of turning on each other in the process. After the last 5 minutes of craziness from this episode, I think it’s safe to say that, legally and ethically, there’s no such thing as “getting away with murder”.
