The Sandbar restaurant ritebon the beach. Great food. My brother took me years ago, lovely visit n swim.😊❤❤

Literally the only beach I go to. Parents took us to AMI for as long as I've been alive. And even now I always love going back, even for day trips to the beach

One of the most beautiful and clean beaches in the world. I don't live in that area anymore and I sure do miss it.

Been to Anna Maria Island and Bradenton many times over the last twenty years.Video gives a great description of the area.Coquina Beach by Longboat pass is our favourite place to chill.Lots of dolphins and manatees can be seen cruising the pass.Not to be missed.

Me and my family just visited Bradenton Beach last week for the first time ever! And we just loved it!! Its so beautiful. The most beautiful and amazing place I've ever seen. Will be going back again.

great video!! had to subscribe!! keep making them!....fell in Love with the island 12 yeas ago, could not afford the island so we bought a place in Paradise bay estates on Sarasota bay just over the bridge on the main land. It truely is Paradise so close to the island! So so Blessed.

Been going there since the 80's when our kids were little. Now the "kids" take their own kids there. A bit more busier now than what it used to be , but still beautiful.

We just stayed at an amazing home in Flamingo Cay. It is three miles from this island, but on the canal. 10211 Kingfisher Rd. We totally love the island, but a nice quiet neighborhood at the end of the day is nice too! Enjoyed this video . Check out the Sea Hag on Cortez next time. Pretty amazing collection of items for sale.

My Dad hated to stay at home on weekends. So we alternated between the "Shack" on the Homosassa river and an old house on Anna Maria island. I loved Anna Maria. The only restaurant was Pete's. That was okay, my Dad cooked great steaks for dinner and grits his way for breakfast. I was always allowed to invite atleast one friend.

I have a house on Holmes beach. Just an amazing spot.

If you rent it we would be interested in the future. We love this area! We drive each year from South Carolina for vacation! We still love our low country and beaches but AMI and the Gulf is special!

Spent a week on AMI three years ago at Christmas. Now looking to retire to the area.

Don't miss the village of Cortez...great seafood places. And you can fish off many beaches and piers and catch your own dinner...trout, sheephead and redfish are delicious, as are the pompano and flatfish.

Did you guys go there in the middle of pandemics? 😁 From the looks of it, it was a year prior. I live in central FL but never visited it. I'm so going there in July after a few family trips outside of FL.

It was July of last year, so yes. We spent all of our time outside including eating out so it was not a big deal. It is a laid back, beautiful spot I am sure you will enjoy. Have fun!

It is definitely near the top. The panhandle has some nice beaches with very clear water as well.

With a little over 8 thousand people there what are the job prospects like there, I'd like to take a trip there but I'm out of money and might like to stay for a bit but I'd need a place to stay.

Rents are high so you might find a job but still may not be able to afford to actually live on the island. Just across the bridge in Bradenton, you'll find reasonable rent.

Would you say cocina beach had the clearest water?

Chris H That’s probably a fair call, but all of the beaches on the Island have super clear water. Coquina Beach has the best parking and a wide, soft sand beach.

I would go to Bean Pt one day, dinner at Beach House, be sure to catch the sunset from the beach. Minnies for breakfast or a snack - the danish could feed a family. Visit at least one pier. I hear the Waterfront is a good spot for a nice meal.

Decent amount of parking but can fill up

I moved to this area 10 years ago and no commercial franchises were allowed. The Marriott Waterline has destroyed the old Florida ambiance. I don't know how or why that was allowed but it really is an eyesore. Now developers are buying up the smaller rental management companies and increasing visitor rentals by 300%.

You'd be surprised where all that "great seafood" comes from at most seaside restaurants! Much of it is no where near local caught!
