One of the true highlights in his score for the dazzling pop-art musical "Anna," which aired as the first French color telefilm back in 1967 (and what color it is!). The songs were written by the wildly talented Serge Gainsbourg, and this particular one is sung by the superb Anna Karina. If you want to see the English subs better, watch in "full screen" mode (a KZread feature no one ever seems to use).

I know the singer is Anna Karina on a track from the 60s, but this video looks so contemporary. Is it really her? She can't be that young and beautiful any more, surely?
Anna is always wonderful - but how come this excellent song has never been on any "best of" Serge compilation?? Or does Anna have any cd featuring this gem?
