"Love is a choice." Love that! Whether it proves to be true in real life or not, I still love it. There is definitely some truth to it. And regardless of whether it was lust or love that drove Anna away from her husband, I believe Keira is correct, and I do not doubt that despite how cold and distant Karenin appears or seems to act, he does truly love her, he did love for her, and it truly hurt him to lose her. But Anna either could not,, or did not, see that, while Karenin could not express and show that love the way he probably ought to have done so because of his overall personality, and therein lies this story's tragedy. I truly didn't expect to enjoy this film, but I did! Kudos to everyone involved in creating this glorious piece!

This movie didn't seem to be about love. It looked like a film about a bitch that just wanted to sleep with Count Kickass because he was younger than her husband. And she just abandons her kids and husband for a guy she hardly knows then starts being a bitch to the guy she is cheating with and has the nerve to get upset about it.

Isn't it also weird that British rock bands sing about him!?! Judas Priest "Breaking Jude Law" and The Clash "I Fought Jude Law and Jude Law Won"!

They shaved his head and he grew a beard for the character. I bet they gave him age makeup as well. Minister Karenin isn't supposed to be handsome.

For those who think that Anna is the worst, the truth is Anna Karenina is an extremely demanding role to play. The other characters are portrayed brilliantly by the actors in this new adaptation, and Keira was fantastic. But to be like the book, the role itself was so demanding that NONE of them could do her justice. Emma Watson`s Crystalia Amaquelin who is based on her is the only adaptation that does her justice.
