They also discuss Michael Cohen's decision not to testify & whether the Los Angeles Rams can pull off a Super Bowl win.
What do you think?

Ann Coulter has gone on the record (repeatedly) saying that women should NOT have the right to vote. Its a pipe dream of hers to repeal the 19th Amendment and have each state choose to take away from women their right to vote. And the reason why she says that, women simply vote for more spending. Always. They spend, spend, spend, and since its all just government money (and not theirs, because they didn't earn it) spend it on things they want NOW!. Debt? Fine. Just borrow and spend and make sure "they get theirs." Men (as voters) are more responsible about their civic duty in voting and tend not to vote for candidates that promise more and MOAR spending. Yes, Ann would make a great President. She sees things very clearly. She has mastered human nature.

I suppose that's one way of ensuring she's still gong to be quicker than 85% of the voters.....You're still going to have to disregard that 85% or so of male voters to make any difference...

@@BingChilingEnjoyer What Ann actually said was "the roof is a medieval solution... to a modern problem" in direct response to Lisa saying the same thing about the wall. What you've just explained about Ann's argument doesn't make any sense. Lisa is saying the wall is a medieval solution to a modern problem because, the asylum seeking and migration problem at the border is a modern and complex one that cannot be solved tomorrow by putting up an expensive fence that Trump is calling a "wall". And even in the places where a wall has been successfully erected, there have been multiple instances of people finding ways over, around or under those same walls. A roof in Ann's argument is a poor comparison (which is par for the course in how she debates in general) because the 10 out of 10 times, a properly installed roof will keep the elements out. A wall will not keep migrants/coyotes out, other strategies like trade deals with said countries will help, not installing US puppet dictators to support to whim/profits of corporate America etc etc will help give these people their sovereignty back so they don't HAVE to seek basic human rights/freedoms elsewhere.

It's just one of many simple clichés that spread quickly among people in jingoistic environments. We say what we say, for others to see us as we think of ourselves, so we can create the society we desire. Of course, Coulter's idea of a good society excludes any meaningful responsibility for the deeper consequences of our collective actions, refueling a tired narrative for her intended audience. It's a shame seeing people coming to the defense of anyone who tries to justify mass murder. Have a good night.

Please. Stop complaining about liberalism unless you are going to actually prevent it from having power. Preventing lib from having power entails preventing it from propagandizing to wimmin and children. If libs speak they will win by *natural* default of what society is. (Soc is a coalition of scared envious huddled children and females.) Capitalism, and democracy and jeebius 'values' are regularly fighting FOR liberalism's "right" to propagandize to children and females. THEN conservatives complain about liberalism everywhere engaging in hypocrisy and reverse oppressions with the power it has. WELL duh: the cons (capitalists democracy advocates and jeebus moralist) kept fighting for it to have that power. The cons are also very gullible to libs moral propaganda (e.g about children or females). Life is not equal or fair or just or any of that santa claus nonsense. There are just winners and losers BY NATURE. (Also there is no loving god obviously.) If cons can't accept that and do what must be done -- i.e "oppress" liberals (to death) -- the cons will always lose to the ever propagandizing and ever growing dysgenia (scared envious lying children and females) bred by capitalism. But cons are too stupid to understand reality. You have been bred over the millennia to be dumb cannon fodder cells fighting for the lib (envious children females jews liars runts) propagandists. I am wasting my breath. You are simply dumb dogs fetching thrown sticks.

Just where the hell is that Lisa Bloom coming from with this "The wall is a medieval solution to a modern issue"? That's as ludicrous as this new idea that race is a social construct. And she says "lets deal with immigration in a comprehensive way, like yeah sure how's that possible? she wants to allow them to come flooding into America by the score and because she says they are fleeing violence, rape etc. More like she's bringing all that to America, I don't get it. She says if a person has walked a thousand miles to come here, that's the kind of person she would want to hire. Just because they have walked a thousand miles? I'm afraid that asinine way of thinking seems to have clouded her judgement of what kind of person that might be because that person could be anything from an outcast to a murderer. Deal with immigration in a comprehensive way? That'll be like taking people from the jungles of Africa and trying to turn them into the airs of Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, Max Von Braun, George Washington, Thomas Edison, Bill Gates etc. I'm afraid I rest my case....As the saying goes, YOU CAN'T MAKE A SILK PURSE FROM A SOWS EAR.

The idea that a government employee, missing one paycheck, would drive them into poverty is absurd. If they don't have a savings account, it's almost certain they have a credit card or two to tide them over. For that matter they likely have a nice house, car, phones, possibly boats or vacation vehicles. That's not poverty. It's unlikely they'd even be eligible for food stamps or welfare. In the private sector people get laid off all the time. Most rely on their financial resources, get another job and go on. Plus these government workers get reimbursed for the time off unlike the layoff for the private sector worker. I've been to Washington D.C. area. This area is filled with government employees. It's one of the richest regions in America. Go to Alexandria, VA then jump over to say...Lansing, MI...Holy Sh*t. The difference in economic well being is striking. Globalization has impoverished the industrial heartland. Washington D.C. just keeps sucking off the teat of the public treasury. No downturns. No layoffs. No recessions. All Good. If someone is suffering, it's highly likely they are in desperate need of financial counseling of Dave Ramsey. Align your debt and expenses with your income. Start saving.

Take away and/or pro-rate ALL their perks - salary, insurance, benefits, pensions, travel, per diem, housing, security, staff...ALL of it. Or make it come out of THEIR pockets - they pay the wages of gov't employees until they reach an agreement and do what WE elected them to do. Garnish THEIR wages!!! If WE didn't do the jobs we were hired for, we'd be fired. And not 6, 12, 24 months later...it would be that day!!! What about enacting a caveat that to hold office you must keep gov't running - to not do so you forfeit the right to reelection? Until now I haven't liked the idea of term limits....but it's looking better as time goes on!!!

Usually the root cause is being too dumb to plan ahead. every once in a while it is a serious injury, hence the whole 6 months rule. and seriously, yes, people should be able to live off that. I had a fight with the tax man and worked for basically nothing for a whole year once. @Bennett McCoy Canada man. Good catch : ) . I was aware of the statistics, I just have short shrift for that. It seems to me that these days food is pretty accessible even to the working poor (more so in the states than here; seems you get more food for less money there). Lodging and fuel can be expensive, but these are variables a person can adjust by moving. Most people are in debt, and that is the real issue. Borrowed money for nice cars, or new furniture, or a house in a nice part of town. They live beyond their means. I see 90% of people living a much higher quality of life than I do with modern things and vacations, years of courses at schools, eating out, new phones, etc. And yet I am in the top 10% of earners or better most years (I certainly wasn't always). I have never owned a vehicle I didn't need, nor borrowed money to get one. I am sitting on a free couch right now (never paid for one in my life) have a re-used table, a found barbeque I fixed, a 6 year old computer I have upgraded 2x. I bicycle most places, and don't drive except for work. In fact, right now, I let the insurance expire on my truck because I didn't want to waste the money on snow tires, and my work can provide a ride every morning. BUT, I have 100lbs of rice, some potatoes (they grow well) frozen veggies, frozen meat, canned goods, and 6 months mortgage in the bank. Heck I even have enough spare clothes and toilet paper and soap for a few months. This is something I did even when I was trailer trash working on a laborers wage. But I see people with brand new clothes and cars, and decent paying government jobs, and they are too short sighted to save? Give me a break. They reap what they sown.

Considering, for example, that the Houston area has a locality pay increase with the same rate as LA or New York... there is plenty of fraud going around that could be used to save during periods of a shut down.
