@hanafromtunisia All I will say is that "saqi" isn't what you think "woman" at least. But if you really wanna know that what is meant by "saqi", who is "saqi", what is meant by "meh-khana" in Qawwalies? Then you should must listen "Teri soorat nigahon mein phirti rahe" by Aziz Mian Daad. And after that "Haye kambakhat tune pi hi nahi". Anyway it's a suggestion but one thing is guaranteed that it's worth listening. I promise you'll not regret it. Thanks ❤

As-salamo-aleikum from Pakistan. Well when I saw the time , I reluctantly started watching it but then it was so magical that I was unable to take my eyes off. Brilliant reactions indeed. I saw Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan live sitting on the carpet in front of all his qawwals and hamnawa in Islamabad in 1995 . It was once in a life time type of the opportunity. I'll explain for you Ab Qaza SE aankh lari hai Zara thahar Jao. Means now I am encountering death stay with . Here Qada is an Arabic word we say it Qaza Like Arab say Ramadan and in Urdu we say Ramzan.

Usually in Qawalli, they sing one main poem/kalam but after each shaer/couplet, they sing its similar shaer from other kalams as well.. and they sing the same shaer in many different styles before moving on to the next shaer of the main kalam.. so at times it feels like there are many different compositions in one qawalli.. but the main kalam follows the same style usually.. with a lot of on the spot improvisations..:)
