Nice review. I love the layout of these chargers with 2 USB-C and 1 oldschool USB in the same charger. I've got tons of old cables that I don't wanna have to replace. Good to Anker and Ugreen are roughly equal so I can buy whichever one is on sale at the moment.

What's your opinion on Toocki Gan chargers?
I think you just scratch the surface with all of your talking, no actual test performed, please learn from charger lab or Allthingsoneplace, they're pretty good at charger analysis
You should've compared the temperature they bring to the device, since that is where the real investment of buying a charger goes in. Of course charger gets hot or warm, but who does produce less heat, Since less heat on a lithium ion or polymer batteries actually potentially slow the deterioration of the battery. I hope this will be included on your next video since this information actually what really matters when it comes to the real convenience of buying a charger. Thank you mate
@tobiflitzi4361

This is the task of your device. If your device allows charging with 65W it also should be able to handle the temperature. The heat gets produced by the device when charging not the power supply. For example new smartphones with high input wattage sometimes even have 2 battery’s so they don’t produce that much heat.
@3204clivesinclair

How much charge your device will accept is down to the device, not the charger. 65w is the maximum output of these two chargers. Not all devices can accept 65w
@guyfriends1843

The newer Anker 65w will run hotter, but that is because it no longer does preset splitting instead it can adapt the power per port resulting in faster charge times
@loughrey101
Жыл бұрын
That has nothing to do with the charger. A charger can get very hot but the device itself can stay cool. It's all to do with how well the phone maker made their phone to dissipate heat as all chargers that produce the same wattage output will affect the phone the same way. How hot the chargers themselves get is another thing altogether and that can be comparable

If what you are talking about this a USB c and USB a charger, just no for that price it isn't worth. Might as well get the Anker 735 Ganprime as that will be more efficient and compatible in size, faster in charge speed and comes with a stabilizer to hold it onto a wall

Wish you would have commented on each devices specific voltages offered. I have done some digging into trigger boards and it turns out theses new multi-voltage chargers have a lot of unforeseen value. LTT did a video exploring a lot of redundant power supplies with huge bricks. Personally interested in the portable power bank potential the most.
The pain islatest pro model iphones supports upto 20 watts of fast charging that too upto 80% and then gets into tricke charging. So whatever adapter ppl use it will take 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs to get fully charge.

I initially bought the Ugreen Nexode 65W charger, but I immediately sent it back after finding out that it doesn't support super fast charging 2.0 for Samsung phones. I now have the Anker GaN Prime 100W charger, and despite costing more than double, it's a much better product.

@guyfriends1843

They both will, ready any and every charger resulting in power moving creates loss of electricity and therefore heat, the Anker will make your battery hotter if you are splitting it or if you are a 45w Samsung capable user as it can distribute power in a new method. Instead of set splits like 20-45 and everything else it can adapt and charge your devices faster.

Anker 735 Ganprime would be my pick
this one look very nice, but as i see, that one corsulin brand from amazon, 200W ,3USB C 2 USB A is better.
Hi Good video 🇬🇧
One thing consumers must be aware of is that some phone brands seem to limit their fastest charging mode to 1st party chargers. I own the Ugreen 65W charger and a Xiaomi Poco X3 which ships with a 3A cable. If I plug it into my Ugreen 65 charger I get "quick charge". Which is kinda fast. But if I use their included 33W charger I get "Mi Turbo Charge" which is significantly faster. I haven't looked into it but I cannot seem to get that mode with any other charger than their own. (Which is sad cause it's only 33W, and twice as large as Anker or Ugreen, and only has one classic USB port)
@StardustLegacyFighter

That's just Xiaomi being scummy.
Where I am, the UGreen is half the price of the Anker, so it’s pretty much a no-brainer.

The Anker 735 Ganprime, not the one shown in this video is likely what you are comparing it to, it can charge your devices faster if you are splitting it or have a Samsung phone capable of 45w
What about baseus 65w pd adapter 🙂

That's even better than these two. That could output 60 watts from USB A. These ugreen/anker can't

It's not though because Anker applies for proper safety certification, UGREEN applies for no certification so the safety of their chargers are not independently certified. It's why Apple sells Anker chargers in their store but never UGREEN
@elus89
9 ай бұрын
@@loughrey101Yeah the one with greater market availability usually has to put up with more stringent safety requirements to put up with the various regulations. That said, those certifications can cost money that goes into the price of the device, perhaps hedging against the ability of the manufacturer to supply more premium quality parts for the same price point. But then scale possibly nullifies that price component. So really one has to take apart the device and weigh out component value and judge from there.

If they are thesame price, then definitely buy the Anker. Next should be Aukey then Ugreen, but only if both are 30% cheaper than the Anker. All have more or less similar power performance and safety in place but the Anker edges out in material and electronics quality especially the their USB A and C out /female plug. My Aukey eventually loses grip before dying (20 months) even if i pry the pins back (USB A) it keeps loosing grip with the cable. my ugreen died first eventhough it was the least used at 16months. It had loose components and was rattling inside when it is shaken after about a year. I think the newer ones are of higher quality than their 1st generation chargers tho. My QC 3.0 Anker which was the most used died about 3 years.
