Y que tal la bateria dela la HK por que yo tengo una la Onyx delas primeras cuando salieron se escucha muy bien pero la bateria simpre fue una 💩 desde nueva si acaso le durava 30 minutos la bateria todavia la tengo se escucha muy bien pero simpre la tengo que tener conectada ala coriente

@@oescolante15 la verdad yo solo la utilizo en interiores y siempre conectada a la corriente, pero la única vez que la utilicé sin cable me dió unas 4 horas y aun me quedó un 50% de batería, así que creo que no está mal aunque seguro no es su fuerte.

Ich will nichts falsches sagen, bin kein Experte in Technik von Lautsprechern, aber wie ich das verstanden habe, ist dieser ovale Woofer in der Mitte vom Boom2 nur ein starker Mitteltieftöner mit zwei Hochtönern links und rechts, während der alte Boom nur zwei Full Range Driver links und rechts in der Front verbaut hatte. Damit spielt der Boom 2 zwar stereo, die Bühne ist aber wesentlich enger als beim Vorgänger. Trotzdem bevorzuge ich klar den Boom 2. Der klingt einfach klarer, detaillierter, natürlicher und einfach viel sauberer auf hoher Lautstärke in meinen Ohren. Der Motion Boom hat da bei manchen Tracks schon ziemlich heftig übersteuert. Für mich ein deutliches Upgrade. Das mit den Problemen auf niedriger Lautstärke ist zwar schade, aber vielleicht haben wir Glück und sie fixen es diesmal mit einem Update 😉

@@mr.pinter1080 Ja das wäre super 👍 Aber viel Hoffnung habe ich da nicht, wie die Vergangenheit gezeigt hat... Allerdings finde ich das Problem jetzt auch nicht gravierend. Ich höre viele verschiedene Genres und das Bassproblem besteht nur bei von Natur aus extrem Tief+ Oberbass betonten Tracks. Bei Rockmusik, Classic Rock oder Oldies, merke ich es so gut wie gar nicht.

@@AudioTechniker1 Grüße! Naja so krass würde ich es jetzt vielleicht nicht ausdrücken, mein Kommentar war auch nicht dazu gedacht ihn vorzuführen. Mir war nur aufgefallen das er gesagt hat, der Boom 2 hätte wieder nur zwei Full Range Treiber + Woofer, aber keine Hochtöner. Und das stimmt halt nicht, man kann es eben auch deutlich hören...

I have the motion 300 and I have informed soundcore that it has distortion and even recorded a video demonstrating that but they said unless more people report that they will not do anything about it. A few other people have reported that the speaker has distortion such as Alan Ross Reviews. But he also says soundcore doesn’t care.

Great review. I am awaiting delivery of my Go Play 3. I am having a shelf put up to keep it on. Do you have an opinion on what materiel would be best, glass, wood, stone? Do you think this Will affect the sound quality?

The downfiring woofer adds lots of vibration. If the shelf is not 100% stable it may rattle around

hey oluv! i know this is not fitting the video at all, but since i know i can trust your reviews because i got the sennheiser hd58x and LOOOVED them. im currently moving and thinking getting a sound system for my tv. id use it for watching movies but also for just listening to music while im home. do you have any suggestions for that? i heard soundbars are kinda bad so is there some kind of speaker system you can recommend?

I purchased the Go+Play 3 on sale for about 180 USD and I think it’s very worth it at that price. I also own the previous G&P 2 and it is still one of my favorite speakers. They’re perfect speakers for everyday use and are pleasant to the ear even after several hours. Both are elegant looking speakers and although they may have some weight to them, they feel premium and sturdy. I would consider them somewhat portable speakers and the battery life is good. I usually got about 4-5 hours on 75% volume on the G&P 2( I haven’t tested battery life on the G&P 3). The one thing I dislike about the G&P 3 is the subwoofer placement. You basically need to always set it on a plain and level surface so that you get the best sound contrary to its predecessor that sounded good no matter what surface it was on. I would still definitely recommend the G&P 3 if you’re in the market for a mid size speaker with serious sound.

Surprisingly no. I think that they are about equal on the low end, at least to my ear. I love my GP2 till this day. To me the biggest change is the aesthetic of the speaker. You’re not missing out on much with the 3. I loved the ruggedness of the GP2 and I took it with me on my construction jobs. Everyone was always amazed by its beautiful and powerful sound in such a portable yet elegant build.

So I discovered that with the soundcores, once the equalization has been adjusted, exit the app and restart the speaker without the app and you will notice that the bass will remain constant without changes, both boom2 and soundcore bost! No, that’s not true. You just don’t notice it probably. But it has nothing to do with the app, it has this issue out of the box like many other Anker speakers. You can simply forget their gear for serious music listening, for making some noise outdoors they are all fine though.

there is not much, but you could try the Motion 300 or the Uboom L, which should be more balanced than the Charge 5 and way cheaper. Just install my firmware, the latest batch comes with a wrong firmware which is not my original tuning.

Hey oluv, the boom 2 has 2 tweeters and 1 big woofer on the front. But the tweeters are not placed well, like they're not angled to the sides. So just wanted to tell you - you didn't check ...

on measurements boom 2 does not seem to lose bass on lowish volume, though I have not seen measurements for less than 25%.

Measurements don’t show anything. They are just static snapshots of some sine sweeps. This is not how music is reproduced in reality. The limiter has way too long reaction and gets confused with fast attacks. the one who programmed the DSP has no clue, it’s funny how other speakers from Anker are not affected like the Motion+, the M300, X500 etc

With custom EQ they will all sound the same. But if the base is not ideal it will be harder to equalise properly

Boom2 users: DONT DISABLE SPEAKER PROMPTS in app settings.. or preEQ of speaker won't be loaded and high frequencies will be absent. Enable and reboot, who has this problem. Soundcore said they will fix this bug in future. UPD: issue fixed in latest FW

I replaced my go+play 2 with the big old HomePod a year ago, no regrets. Still have and love the Helsinki for portable use. Got rid of anything else.

the play 3 sounds much better for me.

Oluv's Gadgets. I do not like Harman Kardon Go + Play 3. It has auto calibration and it sometimes makes the bass dissapear. It sounds hollow, when Auto calibration doesn't work. I give Harman Kardon Go + Play 3, 6/10. Bad speaker. If I knew Auto calibration was this bad, I would have never bought that speaker.

Der Boom 2 ist zu Bass lastig. Harman klingt ausgewogener

It reely comes up to placement of the speaker, volume and listening distance.

Musical choices are good but you could improve even more playing REAL Disco like Musique...Cerrone...Voyage....Bionic Boogie...Gino Soccio etc...
