    Hey guys, one thing I completely forgot to mention is the device comes with a soft cloth pouch to carry it in, and also a USB C to USB C cable. It is pretty short though, I immediately put them back in the box and forgot about them.

    This is pretty late but what's your experience been like using it as a portable charger for the Surface? That's what I bought it for but now I'm not sure it was the best choice. My Surface lasts about 6 hours but I typically need it for about 8; how long would you say the 733 could extend the Surface's use time as a portable charger?

    Thanks, this does seem to be a just-released product late July 22. One thing that you showed clearly, but the Amazon and Anker sites don't really explain, is that the AC prongs DO fold up, very nice for travel. Not sure if the European model would fold though, I think there are more restrictions on Euro plugs. Also I appreciated you stepping through the different scenarios on AC power or power bank battery only. Thanks for an informative review that didn't waste a lot of time. I will look for your dash cam videos also.

    @pedoncule36 There doesn't seem to be a native European plug version of the 733. In fact if you search Anker Europe power banks, there isn't much listed in the 7 Series. But the good news is that it is indeed rated for 240V 50Hz input, so he should be fine with a simple mains adapter. That's how I will use it the next time I travel to Europe.

    I bought an older generation and it was much hotter than my apple 30W charger. Eventually I decided to just buy a 61W Apple charger instead, cuz I dont really like the feeling of that heat (although they said it was fine). Not sure about this new GANPrime.

    How long does it take to charge the power bank from zero to full? Maybe you mention it got a few minutes left in the video. Great video by the way! I was just gonna buy one and trying to decide between this one and the 737, i know that one takes about a hour to charge so curious about this one

  • @integralcamerasolutions

    @integralcamerasolutions

    Жыл бұрын

    I never got a specific time because it seems to take a few hours from empty. I tried watching a few times and always forgot and then didn't see when it finished. The 737 seems to have impressive recharging speeds, but its also quite a bit bigger and requires another PD 3.1 charger to get those speeds it seems. I'd say it will depend on if you prefer smaller size and no need for an additional charging adapter, or bigger faster charger that still requires a wall adapter. The 737 looks like something I would want for my camera/device bag.

    Great detailed video. I picked one of these up on black Friday for $75 to replace my 10kmah 5v batteries that drain my a52 Samsung phone. I bought this in conjunction with a 40k mah anker battery, so it can smart charge it to extend the life of my battery investments. Something to consider since this is a 30w battery, if you are a digital artist like me, you can run a huion 16" pen display in conjunction with a fanless meLE quieter3c computer for about 25 watts. This allows me to have a compact drawing tablet anywhere I go for work. Great little anker device, a little heavy, but I bet in 5 years they will have models more stream lined. A 40,000mah with folding wall plug would be perfect.

    Can you tell me if this pack can act as a UPS for a usb camera? So run the camera off of this device plugged into a wall, if we lose house AC power the camera doesn't shut off because it runs off the battery (automatically) then when AC power comes back, the pack seamlessly switches back to using AC and charges the internal battery in parallel.

    The top USB c Port says in/out, the bottom one says out. So does that mean you can charge the power pack by the top USB c port? If I have it plugged into my cigarette lighter adapter, how does the power bank know whether it's supposed to charge my car battery or whether the power pack is being charged by my car battery?

    I have a question. Why is it that when plugged into an outlet, mine is not charging two phones at the same time when one of the phones is plugged into one of the type-c ports and the other phone is plugged into the usb-a port. When the type-c port is disconnected, the usb-a port device starts charging. But when used as a portable battery pack, both devices charge just fine simultaneously. Why is this?

  • @integralcamerasolutions

    Strange, I did not catch it shows the 3 on the icon. The specifications claims its 4.0. The website just claims it can charge faster and more than 1000 difference devices. I think all it really means is it recognizes different devices and knows what rate to optimally charge them at. I don't think it will really make much of a difference if you have any main large brand devices.
