Her performances here and in The Grifters, The Dead, This is Spinal Tap, The Witches, The Adams Family, Enemies a Love Story are incredibly accomplished and varied

She's such a brilliant actress, love her so much!

Great book, great script, great director, great actors. My favorite movie. If I wasn't so fuckin' lazy, I'd make the entire Prizzi series into the greatest saga since one and two. I miss Huston so much...

Somehow, it feels like Anjelica Huston poured some of her experience into this performance. She seems to share with her character a desire to please her father, a conflictual relationship with him and hurt feelings at his disapproval.

you think😂 her having to listen to Jack tell her to find a man outside the business and settle down was really quite on the nose. And looking at him like she wants to murder him… I cannot imagine she had to dig deep for that😂

I'm an Italian American and I hereby declare these two brilliant artists honorary Italian-American. (Read that Nicholson's real father might actually be Italian too.) For the uniniated the perfectly cooked mealtball is a life-long pursuit.

Spoiler Alert -- Maerose is the real winner of the movie. She is the black sheep of the family. She is given advice from Charlie which she rebuts but slowly gets back into the family graces. She gets Charlie back, too.
