"I do not love fear but I respect him. And he loves me, testing how well I carry the sword of my intent through the land of the midnight farm."
The end broke me.
I....adore this poem. I'm sitting here crying like a baby now. I watched his hands gestures so intently and drooled over every word . Something about this peom literally engulfed me.
Oh man, the ending come out of nowhere and tore me into pieces.
i love his voice so much
I was lucky enough to meet this man and be taught by him at a poetry workshop when he came to New Zealand recently. He is absolutely magical and his words will stick with me forever
The end brought me tears instantly.. Very good performance.
Oh my God, I am crying. This is absolutely beautiful. He's so great at performing. He doesn't have one of those over-dramatic voices. He's a joy to listen to. The end was enough to make me sit back in awe mixed with tears, though. Amazing.
Smile. Another smile. Laugh. Cry.
god. this poem has me in stitches from beginning to end whilst also occassionally stealing the breath out of me, but that last line...i gasped. this is so incredible, his poetry is a gift among mankind.
My heart dropped when he spoke those last few lines
Aww I'm so sorry to hear about your loss Anis. I love your poem "This is how she makes me feel" and I have embraced each word of it. May she rest in peace.

She’s not dead. She cheated on him then divorced him. Listen to his one poem “some summers past”
That last sentence gave me goosebumps.
The end of this poem kills me

As a Black person, I was offended by “Beestings” 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🙅🏿♂️🙅🏿♂️
Hated poetry all my life except Maya Angelou until now
My first thought when he said he hated black people was "what the hell I'm not watching this racist shit" and then he said he just wanted to see if people were paying attention and I was really happy.

Jessica Ham if you were paying attention he obviously said that he has love for the random racist man on the street so that should have alluded to the fact that he wasn’t racist🤦🏽♂️
